Teachers Dish on How They Push Progressive Transgender Ideology in K-12 Classrooms

 

Teachers are becoming even more open about how they are indoctrinating students into so-called progressive ideology related to gender identity. Despite the nationwide backlash, educators are still insisting on influencing small children to embrace their views on transgenderism and other facets of the ideology.

 

In a piece for The Washington Post, author Laura Meckler interviewed teachers to find out how they teach on gender in their classrooms. Their responses were quite illuminating and further demonstrate why more parents must push back against these brazen attempts to mold our children’s minds.

The author explained that some lessons regarding gender identity take a direct approach: “Who can describe what transgender means?” In other instances, they can be more subtle: “Remember, families can come in all shapes and sizes!”

The Smithsonian American Art Museum hosted a “Pride Family Day” event over the weekend, featuring what it called an “age appropriate” drag queen show and crafts inspired by the LGBTQ Pride flag for children ages 3 and up.  

But critics countered that “there is no case” in which such performances “are ‘age appropriate’ for kids,” and condemned the event for being “sponsored by a public institution supported with our tax dollars.”

Fox News is coming under fire by conservatives who took issue with the network running a glowing segment about one California family’s journey with their transgender child.

 

“14-year-old Ryland Whittington is a typical southern California teenager,” reported Fox News correspondent Bryan Llenas. “And the Whittingtons along with his mom, dad, and sister are a typical family. The only difference in Ryland’s eyes is what this family can mean to the tens of thousands of kids under 18 who identify as transgender.”

Story hour: How drag queen shows for minors have become increasingly common

When a video of a gay bar in Dallas hosting a drag queen show for children drew widespread outrage from parents and conservatives, it represented the latest chapter in a growing trend of drag shows for minors.

The show, which many deemed inappropriate for children, was the latest episode in a saga that dates back several years and started with the controversial " Drag Queen Story Hour " at local public libraries.

The Texas show prompted state Rep. Bryan Slaton (R) to announce he would introduce legislation prohibiting minors to be present for such events.

 

"All I'm suggesting is that we do not allow drag shows in front of children in the same way we do not allow strip shows in front of children in Texas," Slaton told the Washington Examiner in an interview. "I believe it's the same idea of decency and morals that we don't let children have women dance around in their underwear and put money in their underwear. In the same way, we should not allow that with a man dressed in women's clothes."

But while Slaton's concerns with the Dallas show prompted his legislative push, the issue of drag shows for minors has drawn concern from parent activists due to their increasing presence in educational settings, especially schools.

Earlier this month, a group of four Colorado elementary schools promoted an after-school celebration of Pride Month that included a drag queen story hour, and for one parent activist, there is a stark difference between the viral Dallas show and drag shows at schools.

"I see a huge difference between something happening on a weekend, that is not sponsored by a school, that parents decide they want to expose their children to, [and] the conversation around schools hosting drag queen performances," Erika Sanzi, the director of outreach for the parent activist organization Parents Defending Education, told the Washington Examiner.

Oregon school district books contain pornographic imagery of sex acts, according to portal

Oregon schools in the North Clackamas District contain books with pornographic imagery, including imagery of sex acts, according to an online portal schools use to track books available for children to take out at their libraries. 

Schools around the country use the program Destiny to track books taken in and out of its library. Fox News Digital obtained screenshots of inappropriate titles and books on gender ideology at most of the district's schools. 

Destiny listed books in at least three high schools, Milwaukie, Adrienne C. Nelson, and Clackamas high schools that actually contain depictions of sexual activities, including oral sex. Some images are so graphic that they are being withheld from this story. 

A mother in Oregon pulled her children out of the schools as a result of what she believed was indoctrination in Oregon schools. 

"It's not about how I feel. It's about that the laws are being broken," Kristen Stevens told Fox News Digital. "Children are being exposed to sexual content at an age that they're not developmentally ready to be exposed to this. It actually can cause PTSD in a lot of these children."

Arizona high school club asked students how they knew they were straight

A student leadership and diversity club in a Phoenix-area school district asked students a series of questions on their sexuality, including how they knew they were straight.

The question was part of a program used by the Unitown Club in the Scottsdale Unified School District to discuss sexual orientation with students, according to emails released by the Arizona Daily Independent. The club's description contains no reference to sexual education.

 

The curriculum, which was created by the organization Anytown Learning, lists 16 discussion questions on sexual orientation, including what students think caused their heterosexuality, how they decided they were heterosexual, why heterosexual relationships are unstable, and whether they had considered that heterosexuality was a phase they would grow out of.

The sexual orientation exercise also asks students: "Considering the menace of overpopulation, how could the human race survive if everyone were heterosexual?"

he transgender movement is coming for your children. The younger they are, the more impressionable they can be. They’ve succeeded in making it trendy to be non-binary or queer or whatever other buzzwords they come up with, and they’ve gone to extraordinary lengths to bring your kids into their cult.

 

And they’re going to come for them at increasingly younger ages. There’s even a transgender “health” association that is actively trying to legitimize gender transition treatments to begin at younger ages. The Associated Press reports the World Professional Association for Transgender Health is bumping up its “recommendation” for hormone “treatments” for kids by two years. Now, the group recommends starting the process at the age of 14 and says the mutilation stage of transitioning kids can be done as young as 15. According to the report, the group “acknowledged potential risks but said it is unethical and harmful to withhold early treatment.”

These updated recommendations come on the heels of a study linking allowing kids access to “gender-affirming care” without parental consent to an increase in youth suicides. But this is all part of the plan: the normalization of mutilating kids and pumping their bodies full of dangerous drugs to create an illusion that one has changed from a boy to a girl or vice versa.

First, the Associated Press wants to make one thing clear: Drag Time Story Hour is under attack. Sure, more and more chapters are popping up and more and more public schools are inviting drag queens into the classroom; as we reported, New York City Mayor Eric Adams this week sang the praises of “drag storytellers” and the libraries and schools that support them. Drag queens even have a repertoire of children’s books from which to choose, including “The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish.”
