Many people have observed for years now that the total exclusion of morality from the public square, and the refusal to declare that any behavior was wrong in itself, would lead to the normalization of all manner of abhorrent behavior. Such warnings seem almost quaint now, with drag queens in primary schools and toddlers being encouraged to undergo radical body mutilation. In this insane environment, it is no surprise whatsoever that the Left is now pushing to make pedophilia as normal as a walk in the park. The assault on traditional values is total and unyielding. No quarter will be given.

The Post Millennial reported recently that “a professional counselor who works with incarcerated sex offenders defended pedophiles as a ‘marginalized’ minority in a recent YouTube upload, sparking criticism as clips from the video went viral on social media.” Miranda Galbreath, who is a licensed sex therapist, posted a video which is, at least for now, unavailable. It was entitled "Let's talk about minor-attracted persons." In it, Galbreath advocates for the use of the term "minor attracted people" and claims that the term "pedophile" is a "judgmental, hurtful insult." She says that pedophiles are "the most vilified population of folks."

Amid all this rancid and dangerous propaganda, even “folks” is a charged word. While the Post Millennial transcribes the word as “folks,” it is likely that Galbreath said “folx,” which Merriam-Webster, a newly woke company like all the rest of them, explains is “used especially to explicitly signal the inclusion of groups commonly marginalized.” Galbreath is semaphoring to her Leftist audience that pedophiles are or should be considered to be among the Left’s protected victim groups, groups that are prized and privileged because they are supposedly “marginalized.” To redress the wrongs done by white, Christian, cisgendered, heteronormative bigots, these people deserve special consideration and accommodation.

Second-Graders To Learn About Genitals, Gender Identity As New Jersey’s New Sex Ed Standards Begin

A New Jersey public school district’s health curriculum forces second graders to learn about genitals and gender identity, according to the district’s guidelines obtained by a concerned parent organization.

Mahwah Township Public Schools proposed its new health curriculum, which includes teaching second-graders “how gender-role stereotypes may limit behavior,” according to the guidelines obtained by Parents Defending Education. Seven and eight-year-olds must be able to “list medically accurate names for body parts, including the genitals.”

 

The guidance pushes topics such as “gender identity” in the fifth and eighth grades as well.

Fifth-graders must be able to “differentiate between sexual orientation and gender identity,” according to the updated standards. The school defines “gender identity” for fifth-graders as a “person’s internal, deeply-held knowledge of their own gender.” The definition of “gender identity” expands in eighth grade. Students are told that “gender identity” is “a person’s internal, deeply held knowledge of their own gender, regardless of the gender they were assigned at birth.”

Even if you took the depictions of sexual assault out of it, Speak would be devoid of any academic or literary value. Many parents have commented on how poorly written it is, an assessment I share. It meanders through the irrelevant minutiae of Melinda’s seemingly un-curated thought life, providing often brief and wholly disjointed glimpses into her experience as a high school student. The objections to including it in the high school curriculum, therefore, boil down to this: it is not a book worthy of academic study, and it presents depictions that are inappropriate for its audience.

What is going on in our public schools is horrifying, in several ways. Most fundamental is that the quality of education is abysmal. It is hard to see how our children are going to compete with the Chinese, or anyone else, given the pathetic level of instruction, especially in math, the sciences, and history.

Meanwhile, our schools focus relentlessly on political leftism and bizarre sexual theories. This book, Gender Queer, is featured in the library of Patrick Henry High School in St. Paul Minnesota, and no doubt many other public schools. It is a graphic novel in both senses of the word, with masturbation, oral sex and who knows what else on display:

With this kind of thing going on, you might assume there is controversy swirling around Patrick Henry High School. And you would be right. Only it isn’t about the promotion of sexual deviance. Rather, the school is in the process of changing its name, because Revolutionary War hero Patrick Henry didn’t live up to the high moral standards of Gender Queer.

I am a lifelong optimist, but it is hard to be optimistic about the future of a country whose public schools are so terrible.

Sixth Graders Protect Their Fellow Students From a Creepy Teacher

What do you do when your teacher is a pervert and no one will listen? You take matters into your own hands.

 

According to a report in The Boston Globe, sixth graders, no less, at Davisville Middle School in Rhode Island had had enough of their teacher not only being cruel to the boys but also with the way he treated the girls. He leered at them, gave them pet names, and asked them to dance. He even allegedly asked one girl to take off her shoes and show him her toes. The unnamed teacher, who was also a coach, told the kids he had dealt with parents’ complaints before and was not worried. The boys went to adults, who essentially blew them off. The flirting and innuendo made the girls uncomfortable. Some would laugh, while others just stayed in their seats and endured it.

 

n January of last year, a group of boys decided enough was enough. They took to Discord and created a channel named after the teacher, and also referred to it as the “Pedo Database.” There, they documented the teacher’s activities. Then during the COVID-19 quarantine, they had the Discord channel on a split screen with the teacher and logged incidents as they happened. The Globe has some of the quotes:

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, the education arm of the state government, promotes transgender video resources and suggested reading explicitly aimed at preschoolers, according to a resource titled “Resources for Gender Expansive Preschoolers.”

The guide includes a litany of resources for three to five-year-olds, including videos that talk about transgender ideology.
