Seriously, on just about every aspect of sexuality, the Left has it wrong. Their preferred policies have already done incredible amounts of individual, familial and societal damage, and yet they keep pushing for more -- and getting away with it. It's bad enough when those negatively affected are adults. But children are increasingly the targets -- and the victims -- of these policies.

The "Sexual Revolution" of the 1960s and 1970s wrought havoc with divorce rates. The number of children in divorced and single parent households skyrocketed, with attendant consequences in child poverty and lower educational outcomes. The push to destigmatize promiscuity has been accompanied by dramatic increases in sexually transmitted diseases, particularly in young people. According to a 2021 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of cases of sexually transmitted diseases hit all-time highs for six consecutive years. Chlamydia and gonorrhea are two of the three diseases appearing in greatest number. (The third is syphilis.) Young people (ages 15-24) represent almost half of all STDs, and 61% and 42% of all chlamydia and gonorrhea cases, respectively. It is abundantly clear that sexual promiscuity is making our children sick. And yet we continue to tolerate educational and entertainment content that pitches casual sex to our children.

Does progress have to mean the sexual liberation of children? Michel Foucault thought so, as did many of the now high-ranking Labour Party members who once supported the Paedophile Information Exchange. Sexual interest in children is hardly unique to the modern world, of course, or indeed the West. But it’s also true that since the sexual revolution, there has been a knocking on the door of progressive respectability by individuals with an intense interest in assisting the sexual development of children, and sometimes — as in the case of Foucault — questionable motives for doing so. Such activists invariably come armed with the logic of liberalism: using phrases such as “agency”, “consent” and “education”. The resulting queasy blend of pleasure, freedom, education and adolescence burst into flames this week, with news of a theatre production, The Family Sex Show, coming to Bristol that offers “relationships and sex education” supposedly suitable for ages five and up.

In the wake of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill becoming law, at least 11 states are considering legislation to protect young children from being taught sexuality and gender identity in school.

 

According to a report from the Daily Caller, legislators in these states are considering bills that would “limit school lessons on sex and gender for certain age groups, restrict books with sexual themes, require sex education to emphasize biological sex rather than gender identity and crack down on gender and sexuality-related trainings for children.”

Parents with children attending middle school at Ludlow Public Schools in Massachusetts have filed a lawsuit against a group of teachers and administrators over the district's gender policy and failure to disclose students' gender identity to their parents.

 

A lawsuit was filed Tuesday in federal court by the Massachusetts Family Institute and the Child and Parental Rights Campaign on behalf of two separate sets of parents, who claim their children were encouraged by their Baird Middle School teachers to change their names and pronouns without parental consent.

The students were also told they could use restrooms corresponding with their new gender identity, the lawsuit states.

Confessions of a Disney writer

For many years, I made my living writing TV shows for Disney. I was proud of my work, considering it a privilege to make kids laugh all over the world. But in light of Disney’s disastrous embrace of pro-pedophilia policies, I’m glad that I grew disillusioned with kids’ TV and walked away from the field.

Every kids' TV writer knows that when crafting a story, you have to be careful about “modeling behavior.” Whatever kids see, they imitate, so you should “model” positive traits in your scripts, particularly when writing for pre-schoolers. Imagine inserting a pint-size Larry David character in your story who was obnoxious, argumentative, and sneaky.  Inevitably, you’d get back notes from the story editor telling you to revamp the script to avoid modeling negative behavior.

So Disney’s recent commitment to “add queerness” wherever possible can’t be explained as just trying to teach tolerance and inclusivity. The executives know that by showing “queerness,” they are modeling queerness and encouraging kids to imitate that behavior.

In fact, Disney has had issues with sexualizing children for a long time. Cole Sprouse, a former Disney Channel star, recently noted that he and his co-star brother both suffered trauma from their acting career. He added, “The young women on [Disney Channel] were so heavily sexualized from an earlier age than my brother and I that there’s absolutely no way we could compare our experiences.”

And the curriculum is ours.

Public education is not a vehicle to vindicate the feelz and thotz of the nimrods who teach in them. It’s to do the job we – the bosses – decree should be done, and nothing else. Teach our kids their ABCs and how to count.

Students at Centennial High School in Circle Pines, Minn., are assigned to read “The Poet X,” a novel that has been banned in other districts which are concerned about its sexual content.

The Poet X is a collection of poems that tell the story of a young girl named Xiomara and “the conflict between Xiomara’s religion and the expression of her sexuality,” per Carnegie Mellon University’s Banned Books Project. This central theme is “explored in depth” throughout the work, the project reports.

In 2020, a pair of North Carolina parents sued to have The Poet X removed from their son’s charter school, contending that it violates the school’s duty to remain religiously neutral by arguing so fervently against Catholicism. Although unsuccessful, this suit ascended to the federal level and generated a broad debate about the educational value of the work.

At Centennial High School, this book constitutes one-fifth of the 10th-grade English curriculum, according to a syllabus obtained by Alpha News.

The Mouse that Whored

Disney has sold-out its family-oriented principles for the sake of more money and more influence.  At first, this seems counter-intuitive.  Wouldn’t Disney lose lots of money once its family base discovered that it is actually anti-family?

Not necessarily.  As Daniel Greenfield points out in a recent piece, half of Disney’s movie business is targeted at “adults with no children.”  Even more surprising, 60 % of Disneyland visitors were adults with no children, and only 37% of visitors to Disney World had children under 18.  “The largest demographic for the theme parks like the movies,” says Greenfield, “are millennials.”

Moreover, writes Greenfield, “Disney’s new demographic are adults who have never properly grown up and on some level still think of themselves as children.”  Like Peter Pan, the storybook character that Disney has capitalized on over the years, the millennials and Gen Z refuse, at least in many respects, to grow up.

The new LGBTQ-friendly Disney has been described as having an anti-family agenda.  But its agenda is both broader and deeper than most suppose.  It’s not simply about introducing more gay, lesbian, and trans characters and themes into its stories.  Although that is certainly a slap in the face of traditional families, the anti-family agenda is more profound than that.

Against All Odds: Mother Tells How Her Daughter and Every One of Her Friends Are Suddenly Trans

When I was a teenager, the cool kids smoked cigarettes. Today they cut off their weiners.

 

A mom writing for Substack’s “Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans” is claiming that her kid went full trans-tard after going to a new, woke, trans-happy school.

How can a bunch of kids suddenly all be trans? It’s what we call a “social contagion,” which Oxford Reference defines as “The spread of ideas, attitudes, or behaviour patterns in a group through imitation and conformity. Also called behavioural contagion.”

It’s when a group of people all start imitating each other to fit in.

But how can “normal” teens suddenly want to change the core of who they are? What drives them?
