The 93-year-old strip which debuted in 1929 with characters that have delighted generations of children and have been featured in cartoons, movies and commercials will soon be overhauled to feature more characters who, as heterosexuals, do not espouse the “values” of those who seek to portray the world in a manner that is consistent with their ideology.

Randal K. Milholland, who is the latest cartoonist to draw the nearly century-old exploits of the muscle-bound, spinach-gobbling sailor and his associates Olive Oyl, Bluto and Wimpy, promised more diversity, especially “more characters who aren’t heterosexual.”

California is moving ahead with a bill that would offer gender-transition medical treatment not just to in-state children, but also to kids across America. 

If passed, California’s “trans refuge” bill would allow young people from other states to visit California to receive sex hormones, puberty blockers, and sex-reassignment surgeries.  

“What’s happened is that there are a number of states that have recognized that these medical interventions are incredibly harmful,” says Erin Brewer, co-founder of Advocates Protecting Children.  But, she added, California has decided to “open its doors to people who want to access these medical interventions, even though their states have found them to be incredibly dangerous and worth blocking.”

At least 181 K-12 educators charged with child sex crimes in first half of 2022

At least 181 K-12 educators, including four principals, were arrested on child sex-related crimes in the U.S. in the first six months of 2022, ranging from child pornography to raping students.

An analysis conducted by Fox News Digital looked at local news stories week by week featuring arrests of principals, teachers, substitute teachers and teachers’ aides on child sex-related crimes in school districts across the country. Arrests that weren't publicized were not counted in the analysis, meaning the true number may well be higher.

The analysis found that at least 181 have been arrested between January 1 and June 30, which works out to exactly an arrest a day on average. :snip:

‘Queer All School Year’: Los Angeles School District Forces Gender Theory Into Classroom

The largest public school district in California is teaching a curriculum promoting transgenderism and gender theory to children, according to public documents.

The Human Relations, Diversity, and Equity department at Los Angeles Unified School District is using presentations, training programs, and clubs to instruct K-12 students on gender identity, according to public documents, first reported by City Journal, that include classroom instruction materials and district-sponsored event calendars. The “trans-affirming” curriculum first appeared during the 2020-2021 academic school year.

 

For example, the district hosted a virtual conference that featured a panel of “queer 7th graders” to advise parents on what their “queer middle schoolers want you to know,” the documents showed. The conference also included a presentation encouraging queer athletes to “come out.”

A workshop on “International Transgender Day of Visibility” said “history has a disturbing way of elevating certain voices while silencing others,” the documents showed. The presentation focused on raising awareness for the transgender community to achieve “trans justice.”
