So Michael Brown's mother and boyfriend have achieved their 15 minutes of fame because of Michael's death. The whole thing is not only unfortunate, it is inconceivable. And now we have Staten Island....

The NY thing is a little more 'gray' than the Ferguson situation. Send a half a dozen cops after someone who was selling individual cigarettes on the street seems a little much, and he was shouting he couldn't breathe. But, bottom line - if he had just done what he was told there would not have been a struggle. I found the culture gap REALLY striking in the protest pic that Clearvision posted a few days ago. Don't remember where.

Sweet @Geee & @nickydog!

Was arrested 31 times before?

Resisted his arrest?

Gentle giant is dead because he broke the law.....again....and didn't want to accept the consequences.

How hard is it to understand?

Most of us are not sprinkled with magic fairy dust....so, if we screw up.....expect the consequences of our own actions.

Jail is the "state" disciplining someone else's wayward children. Time out for screw-ups that didn't get the message in their younger days, or had no one who cared enough to say, "No. Absolutely not. Don't do that."

Oblunder progs are angling for a "get-out-of-jail-free" card for their plantation slaves.

It's a time of unreality....or sycophantic surrealism.

BTW: Wasn't a choke hold. It was stated today that it was an over-the shoulder tactic for bringing down a suspect....and, that...if you can say, "I can't breathe...." you are still breathing.

I heard a couple of law enforcement people explain that it wasn't a choke hold and the difference between a 'take down' hold and a 'choke hold'. Guess what? Just about every station and every thing I've read today calls it a --choke holdrolleyes.gif

My #1 sons best friend from college is a black policeman in Wisconsin. He is embarrassed by this whole thing.

Sweet @Geee!

It's a sad thing when anyone dies.....even those that engage in behavior that put themselves & others at risk.

Yes, there are various versions of the hold that was used.

Did the grand jury get a chance to distinguish & determine the difference? I hope so, but we either are a nation of laws...or a nation of lawless individuals, each pursuing their own agenda.

Is the answer to have the feds assume another local power that can put the boot of government on our necks? Because, make no mistake, that is what all this protest crap is being used for....regardless of any good or compassionate feelings of the useful progressives, or, on the other side, any other person that may value human beings over politics.

Does shackling the local police accomplish a worthwhile goal? Consider the damage already done to our military by the present elite politicians.

Most cop shops that I see & work with, are self-policing groups that don't need an overlord & a camera attached to every appendage.

These are Alinsky tactics, pure & simple. Resist we much.

Edited to add:

1.) There is always room for improvement in technique & procedure. Was there culpability after he was detained? I think they should have maybe had emergency personnel there & initiated life saving procedures immediately.

2.) Should they have 'tased' him instead? Would he survive that? Is it legal for the NYPD, to use tasers?

3.) The proximate cause of the man's death, was his repeated criminal activity; followed by his refusal to be arrested. That initiated the take-down. Is the option to just let him break the law, since it's just cigarettes......not murder, arson or rape?

So now Michael Brown has gone from being a gentle giant to his mother's boyfriend's little baby boy. I am realizing more and more that there is a culture gap that may never be breached in this country.

I agree.

To me, that culture gap consists of:

- me, me, me

- gimme, gimme, gimme

- it' NEVER my fault and it's ALWAYS someone else's fault.

plus

- you are white and so you are guilty of my ancestors' enslavement

Bad News Race Baiters: Black NYPD Sergeant Was On The Scene Supervising Cop Who Placed Chokehold On Eric Garner… http://weaselzippers.us/207211-bad-news-race-baiters-black-nypd-sergeant-was-on-the-scene-supervising-cop-who-placed-chokehold-on-eric-garner/

If there was a giant white dude resisting arrest they would have done the same thing, race has nothing to do with this.

Scissors-32x32.png

I’m not surprised by the no-indictment decision of the Staten Island grand jury in the Eric Garner chokehold case. The Garner killing is much, much different than the Michael Brown killing in Ferguson, Mo.

To start with, Darren Wilson, a white police officer, was alone when he confronted Michael Brown, a black teenager. Eric Garner was approached by a whole team of NYPD cops in Staten Island.

There was no videotape of the Michael Brown shooting so the killing had to be recreated from conflicting eyewitness accounts and forensic evidence.

The Eric Garner killing by NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo was recorded on an exclusive Daily New videotape.

But what makes the Garner case so much different than Michael Brown’s is that the Staten Island killing can’t be called a racial incident.

Pantaleo who applied the lethal chokehold on Eric Garner was supervised by an African-American female NYPD sergeant.

Having that black sergeant in charge of that crime scene takes race out of the equation. As awful as Pantaleo’s actions appear on that video, at no time does that black sergeant order Pantaleo to stop choking Garner.

With a population that is 70% white and 10% African-American, when a Staten Island grand jury is presented with a white cop supervised by a black sergeant applying a lethal chokehold, it eliminates the racial component.

The grand jury was then left with the decision of whether Pantaleo had malicious intentions. It decided that he did not.

You can't make this stuff up. It's a country song-about Hillary Clinton:

I like the photoshop of the Marines in front of her....like she admired the armed services. Great lie. I only got to .40 seconds before I felt like heaving leaving.

BTW: I won't stand with/for....or do anything with/for Killary!

Time to play this again. Milwaukee PD.

And Ed Flynn - being a former police chief(I think chief) in Pa. and a favorite of Mayor Barrett's is left leaning. He and Sheriff Clark (Right leaning Milwaukee County Sheriff) have been singing a lot of the same tunes lately.

Here's a better song for Killary....from the comments @WeaselZippers:

I much prefer hearing this,Long Grey Mare, from the Original Fleetwood Mac (w/Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood & Jeremy Spencer) ...although it has nothing to do with Killary...and everything to do with kickin' blues harmonica....

Feeling nostalgic.

A few more early Fleetwood Mac (pre-Buckingham-Nicks) from a great album Kiln House (w/Danny Kirwan):

Tell Me All The Things You Do

Station Man

Blood On The Floor

You are right... I couldn't make that up... I'm sober and of sound conservative mind.

However... the liberal mentality did and thinks it's just the right tune for the Hildabeast.

Welcome To My World!!

The Liberals Are Revolting

John Hinderaker

December 4, 2014

Here in Minnesota, the liberals are revolting, as the nationwide rash of anti-police demonstrations came to Minneapolis today. Actually, multiple demonstrations were combined: it began with a group demanding $15 an hour to work at a local Burger King. The Mayor of Minneapolis and a city council member or two showed up to demonstrate solidarity with the protesters. From there, the demonstrators, estimated to number around 150, began a long trek up Highway 35W, the Twin Cities’ main north-south artery, to downtown Minneapolis.

The anti-police demonstrators, shouting slogans relating to Mike Brown and Eric Garner, were escorted all the way by police officers:

The irony apparently was lost on the demonstrators. Here they are blocking the freeway:

The marchers proceeded on to Minneapolis’s City Hall, taking time for a die-in along the way:

(Snip...Wait Here Come The Best!)

The demonstrators marched into the area where the city council members’ offices are located, demanding funding for a new Office of Equitable Outcomes. Several of the city council members came out to talk with the leftists:

The funny thing about Minneapolis is, it’s pretty tough to get to the left of our elected officials. The invaders got a respectful hearing from council members who mostly agreed with them, and they got their way on the Office of Equitable Outcomes, which was fully funded by the council later in the day. I am sure that group will do great work producing “equitable outcomes.”

The prez is on announcing his 4th new Secretary of Defense But before he announced he had to announce that private enterprise and "America's businesses" have created a yada yada amount of jobs and so CONGRESS must not risk endangering all that success in the economy. because a good economy keeps National Secutiy safe. Been a long road to recovery .

So its good to know that suddenly he understands that businesses DO create jobs and that he is not at all political in his jabs at Congress (ie Republicans)censored.gifblink.png

I am liking Trey Gowdy more and more all the time, but I have to say I don't think he "destroyed" Marielena Hincapie at all. She did not seem to be in the least intimidated by him and appeared to be well prepared and answered his questions without rancor or confusion.

I didn't think he 'destroyed' her either, but I did like how he didn't just let the insinuation pass with out calling her out on it.
