Cold dis-comfort: Antarctica set record of -135.8

(Snip)

Just because one spot on Earth has set records for cold that has little to do with global warming because it is one spot in one place, said Waleed Abdalati, an ice scientist at the University of Colorado and NASAs former chief scientist. Both Abdalati, who wasnt part of the measurement team, and Scambos said this is likely an unusual random reading in a place that hasnt been measured much before and could have been colder or hotter in the past and we wouldnt know.

Second link: Please understand that Colorado became "Blue" and infected by politically correct idjits....because there's no restraints on immigration from California.....and no bounty on the elitist bastids either.......although there should be.

Death Glare !

BbJJPerCQAAnkRY.jpg

There's another photo a friend posted on Facebook with Obama taking a pic of him, the lady next to him (Danish PM, I think), and the British PM (forgot his name). Michelle is really mad. The whole series is hilarious. I was also interested to see who was sitting behind them. Not only the Obama's and Bush's and Hilary went to the funeral.

Nelson Mandela ceremony interpreter branded 'fake'

The sign language interpreter used at Tuesday's memorial service for Nelson Mandela, and whose image was broadcast around the world as he shared a stage with world leaders including President Obama, was being called a "fake" by the Deaf Federation of South Africa.

Bruno Druchen, the national director of the federation, sent this tweet as the ceremony was taking place at the FNB Stadium on the outskirts of Johannesburg:

The Associated Press also reported the allegation Wednesday, saying that three sign language experts who watched the broadcast said the man was not signing in South African or American sign languages.

"It was horrible, an absolute circus, really really bad," Nicole Du Toit, an official sign language interpreter, told the AP. "Only he can understand those gestures."
