Pepper
Re Carter and the o and Rush who also pointed out that the o's DNC speech closely followed Carter's past statements I have to agree with Rush too - how did someone who sounds like Carter get elected in the first place. Because the main stream media and the Left were one and the same and hard at work even then.

Casino67
"..how did someone who sounds like Carter get elected in the first place." Carter was the result of the Nixon fiasco. He ran against Ford who had pardoned Nixon and the media, as Pepper said, savaged him for it. I think the country would have put in a turnip over Ford. Draggingtree
Romney Exposes Obama's Ineptness By Sharon Sebastian · September 14, 2012 In the aftermath of the attack on the U.S. embassy in Egypt and the brutal murder of four Americans in Libya, Barack Obama prepared for a fund-raising swing to Las Vegas leaving Governor Mitt Romney to take a strong stand for America. America's longing for leadership in the White House was heightened by Romney's statesman-like response to the initial attack in Egypt that was followed by the subsequent violent deaths in Libya of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens. For fifteen long hours after the beginning of the assaults, Obama remained silent while the violence escalated. In a leadership void, Presidential candidate Mitt Romney stepped forward before Americans to give an appropriate and firm response. Human Events reports, "The UK Independent on Friday published a bombshell report on the deadly attack that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, in Libya. The report alleges that "the U.S. State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and 'lockdown,' under read more http://patriotpost.us/commentary/14759

saveliberty
Look on my mom jeans, ye Mighty, and despair! Not an undecided vote remains Written By: Bob - Sep• 14•12 He built that: This projection suggests a Romney blowout of Obama in November. Three years of general malaise and a disastrous late summer and fall have set up the conditions for a perfect storm to sweep Barack Obama out of the White House in a humiliating loss: The map above is an alternative analysis of the electoral vote standing for this presidential race done for QstarNews.com by the author of this article. The methodology for this particular map is quite simple. For each state, the polling data listed for that state at Real Clear Politics is viewed, and when obviously skewed media polls are removed, the remaining credible polls are averaged. If that average shows Obama at 50.1 percent or better, that state is shaded blue for Obama. Any result below that for Obama, and the state is shaded red for Romney. This reflects just about all the undecided vote going to Romney by the time voters cast their ballots in the actual election. ************* H/T Instapundit

Draggingtree
Narrative Wars: Slap the Honey Boo Boos with Truthaganda September 14, 2012 - 6:10 pm - by Zombie Memo to non-leftist bloggers, reporters, and culture-shapers: TAKE THE GODDAMN GLOVES OFF. This campaign just got real. From right now until election day, no holds are barred. The mainstream media has dropped all pretense of impartiality. Their behavior in response to the latest Mideast crisis was blatant, outrageous — and effective. When the world erupted on September 11 and the Obama administration groveled at the feet of our barbarian attackers, the major news outlets — knowing that this was a disastrous turn of events for the Obama campaign which could not be spun in his favor — decided the only solution was to brazenly change the subject to a fabricated peripheral side issue: that Romney had committed some kind of “gaffe” by criticizing the government’s weak-kneed response. As Obama’s dithering threatened to ignite a world war, a significant percentage of mainstream news outlets blared headlines like ROMNEY GAFFE DERAILS REPUBLICAN HOPES and ROMNEY WON’T BACK DOWN FROM FALSE CLAIM. Of course neither of these headlines (nor countless similar headlines over the past two days) was factually true: The only thing that transformed Romney’s rather mild criticism into a “gaffe” was that the media itself declared it to be so. The MSM knows full well it manipulates read more http://pjmedia.com/zombie/2012/09/14/narrative-wars-slap-the-honey-boo-boos-with-truthaganda/?singlepage=true
