The Unspoken Word: Sixteen

Erick Erickson

September 5 2012

Sixteen.

(Snip)

Yesterday, the Democratic National Convention started in Charlotte and the Democrats are doing their best to not mention one word: sixteen, i.e. the $16 trillion in national debt the nation faces as of close of business this past Friday.

(Snip)

The entire night seem focused on “reproductive rights” which is just a politically correct euphemism for abortion which is itself a politically correct euphemism for killing kids.

So no talk about debt or entitlements or jobs, but abortion was a fixation. It’s just as galling that the media spent several weeks painting the GOP as out of touch on abortion when, in fact, the Democrats’ abortion on demand position is even more out of touch with both American men and American women.

Three more words.....Fast...And...Furious

LOL on Rush, Nnow they are making noise Obama does not want a balloon drop. Read they don't have balloons cause it was supposed to be outside and did not have them ordered. Too late to get it done now.

Ha! Just like the "lightening" is sending him inside. I saw a headline this morning that said "What lightening?"

It's too late to fill the ceiling with balloons. So organizers are scrambling to come up with another festive way to punctuate the end of the convention.

Hmmm...

Musical Chairs?

Pin the tail on the Donkey?

Thur. moved back to indoor arena. 26,000 capacity instead of 70,000. Because they could not fill it of chance of rain.

Just think of all those poor "voters" that traveled from far and wide for the big event.

All dressed up and no place to go!

They are either the biggest wussies in the world or the biggest liars.

Of course there's always the chance they are multi-tasking and doing BOTH....

The real question from last night has not been asked or answered.

How much did Mooche's dress cost?

don't know about the dress but saw something about shoes being $243 if that helps

Did anyone see the voice vote at the DNC on changes to platform recognizing Jerusalem as capital and restoring God? They had to take three voice votes before the chairman finally said the vote was the way the DNC wanted it to be, agreed to.

Even CNN is saying it was embarrassing for the DNC to not even be able to agree.

I think this crowd would vote to deny the holocaust.

Hi @Casino67, I just saw a tweet that they now recognize Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, a clip of the First Lady, making an appeal for her husband, but being distracting as her dress was like a swimsuit.

Eric Bolling's issue - the parts about having a tough time growing up. Eric points out that he never had a job that wasn't from the government.
