Camp Indigo for ‘trans kids’ bars ‘cis,’ gay teens from summer program

A transgender-only youth summer camp for children has barred "cis" and "gay" kids from attending, raising questions and concerns about "grooming" behaviors.

The summer camp called "Camp Indigo," which markets itself as "Trans Joy Every Day," is limited to transgender and non-binary youth between the ages of 5 and 17.

All campers and employees must be transgender or identify as non-binary, according to its website. The only way so-called "cis" kids can go, or kids who do not feel like they were born in the wrong body, is if their "trans" siblings want them there.

 

The locations of the camp include Akron, Ohio; Oakland, California; Austin, Texas; and Boulder, Colorado.

The term Indigequeer (now more often spelled as Indigiqueer) was created by Thirza Cuthand to title the Vancouver Queer Film Festival's Indigenous/two-spirit program in 2004. They used it as a way to acknowledge that not all LGBTQIA+ Indigenous people feel that two-spirit describes their identity.

A teacher at Great Lakes Academy High School in Plano, Texas has been arrested on child grooming charges.

Jacob Thomas Allred, 32, has been accused of using a messaging app to groom a 15-year-old student for sex, according to police.

Allred was arrested on Tuesday and charged with child grooming, which is a third-degree felony crime punishable by up to 15 years in prison, according to Texas Scorecard. He reportedly teaches the ninth grade at Great Lakes Academy, a private high school that specializes in students with learning disabilities.

On Tuesday, the Plano Police Department released a statement and said that officers received a report on January 8 after a student victim had come forward to her parents about the teacher's alleged behavior.

"On January 8th, 2024, an allegation was made to the Plano Police Department regarding an educator who had committed the offense of Grooming a Child, a violation of Texas Penal Code 15.032. This subject was identified as Jacob Thomas Allred, a 32-year-old male resident of Blue Ridge, Texas, at the time, he was employed at Great Lakes Academy at 6000 Custer Road, located in Plano, Texas," said the department.

Rachel Levine, the trans-identifying Assistant Secretary for the US Department of Health and Human Services, is under fire over allegations that Levine violated the department's scientific integrity policies by claiming that it's "necessary" for transgender youth to receive "gender-affirming care."

 

Levine is accused of making politically motivated declarations and misrepresenting scientific evidence after a watchdog group, Protect the Public's Trust, filed a Freedom of Information Act request to the HHS to obtain scientific data that backs up Levine's ongoing claims that "gender-affirming care is medically necessary, safe, and effective for trans and non-binary youth," the Daily Wire reports.

Kentucky trans pedophile receives no jail time after pleading guilty to sex abuse of a baby

 

 

A Kentucky trans-identified biological male who has been charged with sexually abusing a baby will not face jail time after reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors.

 

Maria "Mark" Childers, a transgender daycare worker in Kentucky, had been charged with one count of first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12 and three counts of first-degree criminal abuse of a child under 12. 

 

On January 29, 2024, Childers struck an agreement with prosecutors which included entering a guilty plea in exchange for his charge of first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12 to be amended to sexual misconduct, which is a Class A misdemeanor. The remaining abuse charges were also dropped, according to Reduxx.

 

Childers, who first began identifying as a woman seven years ago, was represented by prominent trans activist lawyer Madison Leach.

 

Childers had been sentenced to 12 months in prison, but the judge postponed sentencing in favor of a 6-month conditional discharge. In addition to avoiding incarceration, the defendant may be able to clear his criminal record if he adheres to the conditions of the conditional discharge, per the outlet.

Virginia’s largest school division put a “sex therapist” who promotes “kinky” acts like BDSM — a form of physical abuse geared to those who are aroused by humiliation — in charge of deciding whether to heed parent complaints about books that may be inappropriate for children, The Daily Wire has learned.

Fairfax County School Board chair Karl Frisch, a gay activist who recently became chairman of the school board, appointed Laila Cooper, the sex therapist, to the Challenged Materials Interdepartmental Review Committee on January 25, according to public school board documents. The appointment put Cooper in position to assess any request received by the school district about books.

In a professional bio of Cooper, she states, “I work from an affirming and social justice approach with the LGBTQIA community and people of color, and I am kink- and non-monogamy informed and affirming… My work is focused on sex and gender issues (including transgender issues), sexual orientation, kink/BDSM, and interpersonal relationships (including couples, polyamory, family dyads).”

Cooper’s work, according to her website, “includes but is not limited to: navigating non-monogamy (i.e., polyamory, open relationships, swingers, monogamish, throuples, etc.), kinky sex (e.g., BDSM, group sex, fetish), painful sex, difficulty with orgasm, erection issues, shame and anxiety related to sex, out of control sexual behavior (aka sex addiction), sexual orientation, and gender transition.  I work with all genders, sexualities, and relationship formats from an informed, non-judgmental, affirming, and celebratory stance.”

Her practice also includes providing paperwork that people can use to get gender surgery. “As ethically possible, I provide all documentation necessary to do this following a consultation with you,” she says. “I work from an informed consent model, wherein my goal is to advocate for and help you achieve the care you need and desire.”

West Virginia ‘Drag Queen’ Teacher Arrested on Child Sexual Exploitation Charges

A West Virginia teacher who is also a drag queen was arrested and is facing eight counts of child sexual exploitation, according to multiple reports.

Colorado Introduces Bill That Would Force Schools to Transition Students Questioning ‘Gender Identity’

Colorado Democrats have introduced legislation that would mandate schools to socially transition students who question their "gender identity."

The bill, introduced in January, will force public school and charter school teachers and staff to use a student's "preferred name" and pronouns. The legislation states that a "school's refusal to respect a student's request to use a preferred name is discriminatory." 

According to the bill's text, a child's "chosen name" is a form of "gender expression," and the school must respect that. A task force within the state's Department of Education will be created to "provide recommendations" to school districts on implementing "non-legal name changes" for students.
