The Week in Pictures: Black Friday/Saturday Edition

Steven Hayward

November 26, 2016

Isn’t “Black Friday” racist? Or consumerist? Or something politically incorrect? Of course it is. I don’t know exactly why, but there must be some reason. Anyway, the hangover from the election must be setting a new hangover record—well beyond the imagination of the most enthusiastic St. Patrick’s Day reveler. Which is saying something. Me: I spent Black Friday at the beach, and am going to spend Black Saturday at wineries. Cheers!

Even the Green Party is turning on Jill

http://patriotretort.com/even-green-party-turning-jill/

The-Green-Party.jpg

Good gracious. When your own party turns against your get-rich-quick scheme, you know it’s bad.

Jill Stein has run afoul of the Green Party itself in pursuing this recount Kabuki.

As a result, the Green Party US has written an open letter condemning Stein’s little money-making scheme [hat tip Zero Hedge].

The decision to pursue a recount was not made in a democratic or a strategic way, nor did it respect the established decision making processes and structures of the Green Party of the United States (GPUS). The recount has created confusion about the relationship between the Green and Democratic parties–

Ya think?!

–because the states chosen for the recount are only states in which Hillary Clinton lost. There were close races in other states such as New Hampshire and Minnesota where Clinton won, but which were not part of the recount.

Huh. So in other words, the Green Party can’t figure out why in the hell Jill Stein seems to be trying to help Hillary win the election.

Welcome to the club, kids.

As a candidate, Dr. Stein has the right to call for a recount. However, we urge the GPUS to distance itself from any appearance of support for either Democrats or Republicans. We are well aware of the undemocratic actions taken during the primaries by the DNC and the Clinton campaign. Greens cannot be perceived to be allied with such a party.

THESE NUMBERS Should SHUT UP LIBERALS About The ELECTORAL COLLEGE ONCE & FOR ALL … http://viralliberty.com/numbers-shut-liberals-electoral-college/

The following list of statistics has been making the rounds on the Internet and it should finally put an end to the argument as to why the Electoral College makes sense.Share this with as many whiners as you can.

There are 3,141 counties in the United States.

Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.

There are 62 counties in New York State.

Trump won 46 of them.
Clinton won 16.

Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.

In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond)

The Week in Pictures: Victory Lap Edition

Steven Hayward

December 3, 2016

I’d be totally fine if Trump just went on a constant road trip holding rallies and just turned the government over to Mike Pence. It would drive the media out of their mind. Well okay, that mission has already been accomplished. Heck—that suggests a great idea: Why not hold a victory rally in front of the New York Times building, with a banner hoisted on the Times building that reads, “Mission Accomplished.” Krugman would simply explode into a pile of ash.
