Coroner: Breitbart Died of Heart Failure

The office of the Los Angeles County coroner has completed its investigation into the death of Andrew Breitbart on March 1, and has confirmed that he died of natural causes, namely heart failure.

Chief Coroner Investigator Craig Harvey told Breitbart News that the final autopsy report would be released next week.

A press release issued by the Department of Coroner (below) notes: "No prescription or illicit drugs were detected. The blood alcohol was .04%," a negligible amount.

The press release concludes: "No significant trauma was present and foul play is not suspected."Scissors-32x32.png

Talking pineapple question on state exam stumps ... everyone!

In the story, a take-off on Aesop’s fable about the tortoise and the hare, a talking pineapple challenges a hare to a race. The other animals wager on the immobile pineapple winning — and ponder whether it’s tricking them.

When the pineapple fails to move and the rabbit wins, the animals dine on the pineapple.

Students were asked two perplexing questions: why did the animals eat the talking fruit, and which animal was wisest?

Teachers, principals and parents contacted by The News said they weren’t sure what the answers were.

My wife's pineapple plant said it understood the questions just fine....... but it wouldn't give me the answers.

LEGOs for girls has feminist group in a twist

The new “LEGO Friends” rolled out in December featuring LadyFigs, curvier takeoffs on the traditional boxy LEGO men. Construction sets include a hot tub, a splash pool, a beauty parlor, an outdoor bakery and a “cool convertible," as well as an inventor's workshop.

But the SPARK Movement objects to the "LadyFigs," the female version of the little figures who man the spaceships, trucks and forts children create. "Ladyfigs" are somewhat anatomically correct, which hypersexualizes girls, according to the group.

"They have little breasts and they have fancy hair," the organization's executive director, Dana Edell, told FoxNews.com. "And it just disturbs us that this is the image that they want girls to see."

Edell also objects to what she calls stereotyping of preferred pastimes for girls.

"What it's doing is telling girls that this is what's important to you," Edell said of the beauty parlor and hot tub sets. "Girls aren't building space shuttles, they're getting their nails done."

But not everyone thinks LEGOs for girls should have parents ready to snap.

"They have little breasts and they have fancy hair ... it just disturbs us that this is the image that they want girls to see."

- Dana Edell, SPARK Movement

Dr. Leonard Sax, author of "Why Gender Matters: What Parents and Teachers Need to Know About the Emerging Science of Sex Differences," said gender differences are natural, and that while some girls may prefer traditional LEGOs, there is nothing wrong with the company offering what it sees as a girl-friendly version.

According to Sax, even animals in the wild show differences along gender lines from the earliest ages.

"These particular women's groups are disconnected from reality in their desire to promote the idea that these gender differences are taught by the patriarchy or through socialization," Sax, who also authored "Boys Adrift" and "Girls on the Edge," told FoxNews.com. "The sexualization of children is indeed an important issue, but this is not a part of that."

I read the whole question and understood what they are trying to do. But the story is so dumb you cant get past it.

Olbermann at loose ends

Unemployed, perennially confrontational talking head Keith Olbermann aimlessly wandered around Central Park South earlier this week, seemingly looking for a friend or a purpose.

Our spies snapped unflattering pictures of Olbermann decked out in a giant red pullover and clownishly baggy jeans as he strolled 59th Street near Seventh Avenue, smelling the roses — or, in this case, the horse manure, allergens and aromas from a nearby food cart.

Spies said dejected Olbermann parked himself on CPS and stared into space for several minutes before slinking off by himself.

Zimmerman Bond Hearing - Media Reaction

Scissors-32x32.pngLet's follow up our highlights and lowlights of the Zimmerman bond hearing with some media reaction. Here is the local paper, the Orlando Sentinel, which leads with the weak prosecution case:

George Zimmerman granted $150K bond, apologizes to Trayvon Martin's family

SANFORD — At a hearing that legal experts said exposed flaws in the state's case, the
special prosecutor failed Friday to convince a judge that gunman
should stay locked up.

The judge set bond at $150,000, meaning Zimmerman could be freed from the Seminole County Jail in a few days.

Most revealing in the hearing, though, was testimony by prosecution Investigator Dale Gilbreath, a surprise witness for the defense.

The FBI got a warrant to dig up a SoHo basement near Etan Patz’s home after a stunning claim by the new suspect’s ex-wife — that he raped his young niece a few years after the boy’s 1979 disappearance, The Post has learned.

The woman told authorities she divorced Othniel Miller — whose Prince Street wood shop was steps from the Patzes’ home — in the mid-1980s after learning of the attack in the 10-year-old girl’s New Jersey home, a source said.

Federal authorities cited that claim, the source said, to obtain a search warrant for the basement area of 127 Prince St., which Miller was using at the time that 6-year-old Etan vanished while walking alone for the first time to his school bus stop.

A second source said the wife told authorities — referring to the Patz case — that Miller has been involved in “a similar incident involving a relative.”

As a member of Non Self-Respecting Human Beings Coalition....Self Loathing Scumbags Caucus....Walking Around Muttering Incoherently Subcommittee I take offense to the blatant and unwarranted judgmentalism inherent in this statement and demand an apology from Rep. Pelosi, and a check for $839.168,771.02 to cover the psychological trauma that our members have suffered as a result of this scurrilous attack.

Poor Keith appears to have a bad case of DGS... as well as to be carrying "a load" in his pants.

One of my favorite TV characters is Hank Hill and he is a victim of DGS like Keith. Read more on this sad condition below:

banner_549.jpg

wikipedia: Hank suffers from a fictional genetic disorder called Diminished Gluteal Syndrome (DGS). His essentially non-existent buttocks fail to provide him enough cushioning when seated, causing stress on his spine and forcing him to wear an "orthogluteal" prosthesis in at least one of the episodes, and Peggy declares as running joke throughout the series they would have more kids if it wasn't for Hank's "narrow urethra" in a councilling meeting with her after Hank hits Bobby, to which Hank snaps: "He didn't ask you about my glands!"

@NCTexan

When Oh When will American wake up and unite as one to end the scourge DGS.

Obviously this calls for a DGS ribbon that we can all wear to show our solidarity with the sufferers of DGS.

Yeah... So what's wrong with that map?

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it!!! biggrin.png

I would make one small suggestion...that would be getting rid of the spawn of Satan, otherwise known as the Dallas Cowboys. The fact they stole a Super Bowl ring from the Vikings has absolutely nothing to do with my suggestion.
