Zopittybop-bop-bop arrested near Wisconsin Capitol

(Reuters) - He'd better watch out or he'll make a bad name for himself. Or maybe he already has.

Beezow Doo-Doo Zopittybop-bop-bop, 30, was expected to be charged on Monday with possession of marijuana and a knife, as well as a probation violation following the Wisconsin's man's arrest in a park near the state Capitol, police said.

Zopittybop-bop-bop -- formerly Jeffrey Drew Wilschke before a state court approved his name change request in November -- was arrested on Thursday afternoon in a park less than a mile from the Capitol in Madison after police received complaints from neighbors.

Zopittybop-bop-bop told officers he would "get even with them" when he was being taken to jail, according to a police report. They recovered marijuana, a knife and drug paraphernalia after his arrest.

He was already on probation for a prior weapons possession conviction. Police had arrested him in April near another Madison park and recovered a loaded handgun and two knives from a backpack he was carrying, according to court records.

Mia Love - Standing Up and Standing Out

In November 2011, Mia Love filed to run for Utah’s newly formed 4th Congressional District based on her demonstrated leadership on conservative principles. She credits her parents with providing the foundation for her ideals. After many years of living in the unstable, regime-torn socialist island country of Haiti, her parents immigrated legally to the United States with $10 in their pockets in hopes of achieving the American Dream.

Mia was born in Brooklyn, New York and eventually moved to Connecticut. Mia recalls both parents working hard to earn a living, her father at times taking on second jobs cleaning toilets to pay for school for their three children. On the day of Mia’s college orientation, her father said something to her that would become the ethos for her life:

The Hill: Obama re-election effort picks up speed amid noise of NH primary

Amie Parnes 01/10/12

President Obama’s re-election campaign appears to be picking up speed.

Just days after administration officials said Obama wouldn’t be doing much campaigning, the president appears to be doing just that and he's using the New Hampshire primary to rev up his campaign.

And for the first time this year on Monday night, Obama took his first shot—albeit a light one-- at Republicans campaigning in the Granite State: “The very core of what this country stands for is on the line. Don’t take my word for it, watch some of these debates that have been going on up there in New Hampshire,” the president said to laughter.

A. You mean he stopped campaigning at some point?

B. "“The very core of what this country stands for is on the line." Could not agree more.

Breaking: More GOP Candidates on Virginia’s Presidential Primary Ballot?

snip

Yesterday, Judge Gibney ordered the Virginia State Board of Elections to notify all local county electoral boards that they are barred “from ordering any ballots” or “from mailing out any absentee ballots” until after the judge holds a hearing on the case on January 13. The judge says in the order that he will make a decision on the merits of the temporary restraining order (TRO) and preliminary injunction being sought by the candidates on the 13th.

snip

So we should know by the end of the day on Friday whether Perry, Gingrich, Huntsman and/or Santorum will be added to the ballot or if the only choices for Virginia voters will be Mitt Romney and Ron Paul in the Republican primary on March 6. With this latest order from the judge, it is highly likely that there will be additional candidates on the ballot.

One of his best, IMO.

I wonder if any of our leaders really have the courage to tell people the simple truth, in three words...We...Are...Broke.

Well Ron Paul does, but he's got so much crazy (the moon is made of green cheese crazy) baggage, that people can't take him serious.

:wallbash: What gets me the guy is serious! It boggles the mind.

Of course "libruls" are the country's intellectual elite (just ask them)... This is what the "believe" and they take most of their important positions based on bumper sticker slogans and feel good ideas. (seventeenth reprise of "Imagine" playing softly in the background)
