Here are the 10,535 pages of ObamaCare condensed to four sentences…

As humorous as this sounds…..every last word of it is absolutely TRUE!

1.) In order to insure the uninsured, we first have to uninsure the insured.

2.) Next, we require the newly uninsured to be re-insured.

3.) To re-insure the newly uninsured, they are required to pay extra charges to be re-insured.

4.)The extra charges are required so that the original insured, who became uninsured, and then became re-insured, can pay enough extra so that the original uninsured can be insured, which will be free of charge to them.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is called “redistribution of wealth” …or, by its more common name, SOCIALISM.

Prepping for Ebola – Getting Started http://www.the-conservative-underground.com/prepping-for-ebola-getting-started/#

Editor’s Note: For many years I have felt the need to prepare or “prep” for unseen circumstances that might arise, and in that effort I have become acquainted with a number of people who have more knowledge and experience on the subject. For this topic, I decided to reach out to one of those people to share her knowledge and advice on how we can all best prepare for what may come.

The following information comes from that friend, who for a couple of good reasons asked that her name not be used, preferring instead to simply call herself Sacajawea. She describes herself as a “one time Rodale groupie, organic gardener, amateur herbalist, retired artist in multiple mediums, former techie and self-didact and folk-philosopher. Current beach bum gramma. Old enough to know better and young enough to not care“.

This information is not intended to give advice on the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of any medical condition; it is simply offered to provoke thought and to help people prepare themselves and their families for difficult situations. If you trust our government to control the spread of Ebola and to keep your family safe, you probably won’t be interested. If that is not the case however, you might want to continue reading and think about what you can do to keep your own family safe.

Part I

First of all, remember the number one way to avoid infection with this and lots of other viruses, is to minimize your chances of being exposed to it. It is also worth remembering that it took 10 months for West Africa’s outbreak to become as widespread as it is now, so your small town or city won’t be overrun with contagious people overnight. That said, we are entering cold & flu season, and for all practical purposes you probably want to know how to avoid those too.

If you’re new to prepping, you may not know where to start, how to organize such a project, what’s absolutely necessary, and what’s a waste of time and money. It can overwhelm a person and make it seem hopeless to even try but that is just anxiety speaking. The biggest cure for anxiety is to DO something that directly deals with what the anxiety is about; to rely on oneself and make a common sense plan to provide for oneself and one’s family – come what may.

Here are some suggestions for breaking down a giant, scary topic into more bite-size ways to deal with a potential pandemic situation. No matter what your budget is, you can better your ability to be ready for just about anything.

What Does 200 Billion Stars Really Mean? http://www.slate.com/blogs/bad_astronomy/2014/10/12/milky_way_photo_the_galactic_center_by_robert_gendler.html

The sheer scale of space is overwhelming. Oh, sure, we have words to make it more palatable, like “light-years”—as if a distance of 10 trillion kilometers is graspable by our puny simian brains.

And when I think about our galaxy, the Milky Way, I know that it’s 100,000 light-years across, but that’s just a number, the reality too huge to truly hold in my mind.

But what really gets to me is how many stars are in the galaxy. Astronomers, including me, offhandedly say it has something like 200 billion stars comprising its bulk. Two hundred billion. Written out, that’s:

200,000,000,000

And I look at that, and my brain parses it, dissects it, counts the zeroes, makes analogies, uses scientific notation … all in an attempt to grasp the ungraspable.

So how many stars is that, really? Here, this might help: http://www.robgendlerastropics.com/MWCenter.html

Or it might crush your brain further.

Question:

If a black child is shot by a 'white' cop, every 28 hours.....[look, we all know that's where this implication lies]....how often is a black child shot by a black child?

You never hear this story these days... http://blackforkblog.blogspot.com/2014/10/you-never-hear-this-story-these-days.html

IRISH: THE FORGOTTEN WHITE SLAVES

They came as slaves: human cargo transported on British ships bound for the Americas. They were shipped by the hundreds of thousands and included men, women, and even the youngest of children.

Whenever they rebelled or even disobeyed an order, they were punished in the harshest ways. Slave owners would hang their human property by their hands and set their hands or feet on fire as one form of punishment. Some were burned alive and had their heads placed on pikes in the marketplace as a warning to other captives.

We don’t really need to go through all of the gory details, do we? We know all too well the atrocities of the African slave trade.

But are we talking about African slavery? King James VI and Charles I also led a continued effort to enslave the Irish. Britain’s Oliver Cromwell furthered this practice of dehumanizing one’s next door neighbour.

The Irish slave trade began when James VI sold 30,000 Irish prisoners as slaves to the New World. His Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies.

By the mid 1600s, the Irish were the main slaves sold to Antigua and Montserrat. At that time, 70% of the total population of Montserrat were Irish slaves.

Ireland quickly became the biggest source of human livestock for English merchants. The majority of the early slaves to the New World were actually white.

From 1641 to 1652, over 500,000 Irish were killed by the English and another 300,000 were sold as slaves. Ireland’s population fell from about 1,500,000 to 600,000 in one single decade.

Families were ripped apart as the British did not allow Irish dads to take their wives and children with them across the Atlantic. This led to a helpless population of homeless women and children. Britain’s solution was to auction them off as well.

During the 1650s, over 100,000 Irish children between the ages of 10 and 14 were taken from their parents and sold as slaves in the West Indies, Virginia and New England. In this decade, 52,000 Irish (mostly women and children) were sold to Barbados and Virginia.

Another 30,000 Irish men and women were also transported and sold to the highest bidder. In 1656, Cromwell ordered that 2000 Irish children be taken to Jamaica and sold as slaves to English settlers.

Many people today will avoid calling the Irish slaves what they truly were: Slaves. They’ll come up with terms like “Indentured Servants” to describe what occurred to the Irish. However, in most cases from the 17th and 18th centuries, Irish slaves were nothing more than human cattle.

As an example, the African slave trade was just beginning during this same period. It is well recorded that African slaves, not tainted with the stain of the hated Catholic theology and more expensive to purchase, were often treated far better than their Irish counterparts.

African slaves were very expensive during the late 1600s (£50 Sterling). Irish slaves came cheap (no more than £5 Sterling). If a planter whipped, branded or beat an Irish slave to death, it was never a crime. A death was a monetary setback, but far cheaper than killing a more expensive African.

The English masters quickly began breeding the Irish women for both their own personal pleasure and for greater profit. Children of slaves were themselves slaves, which increased the size of the master’s free workforce.

Even if an Irish woman somehow obtained her freedom, her kids would remain slaves of her master. Thus, Irish mothers, even with this new found emancipation, would seldom abandon their children and would remain in servitude.
