Valin
Supposedly the FAA sent this guy a bunch of paperwork and regulations that say no unmanned commercial aircraft allowed. @Valin Now we are talking Hinge of HistoryTM... @Pepper, @NCTexan, @Casino67, @SrWoodchuck Note: I'm sure this is just a publicity stunt and the box was empty as that size drone could not lift case of beer... There is a theory that maintains that Beer was the reason cities were started. BEER LEADS THE WAY!

Valin
Overselling and (So Far) Under-delivering From Syria to Iran and to the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, Secretary Kerrys boosters have managed to cleverly market his moves as genuine achievements. Adam Garfinkle 2/2/14 In recent weeks I have on at least three occasions run across the statement that, if I may paraphrase, John Kerry has accomplished more as Secretary of State in four months than Hillary Clinton accomplished in four years. What to make of such remarks? The first step is to establish their provenance. These statements, which are sometimes adorned with specifics and sometimes not, are specifically political in nature. They come not from Republicans who, though they may have motive to deflate Hillary Clinton politically, do not often see Secretary Kerrys record thus far as so obviously praiseworthy. Rather, they come from Democrats who think of themselves as being to the left of Hillary Clinton (and her pro-Iraq War vote) and who seem to be getting behind the idea of a primary challenge by Elizabeth Warren. (Snip) ______________________________________________________________________________ Question: Is John Kerry (who served in Vietnam) setting himself up for another run for the WH? Valin
You can’t celebrate America, school saysTodd StarnesFebruary 03, 2014Students and parents at a Colorado high school are outraged after administrators turned down their request for a spirit week day honoring America because it might offend non-Americans.“They said they didn’t want to offend anyone from other countries or immigrants,” a 16-year-old member of the student council told me. “They just really did not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.”The student council at Fort Collins High School had proposed having a day to celebrate the United States during next week’s Winter Spirit Week. The young people pitched “’Merica Monday” – and invited their classmates to dress in patriotic colors. Their proposal was promptly shot down by administrators.“They said they didn’t want to be exclusive to any other country,” a 17-year-old member of the student council told me.(Snip)

Easier to hide the age thing = jowls and wattle. How can he have jowls and wattle with a brand new chin?? I think he is still trying to reinvent himself. And he looks terrible. Maybe he thinks the Arabs will like him better with facial hair like them.

Valin
Comments: Alone Yet Not Alonebyalhobbs-789» 6 days ago (Wed Jan 29 2014 16:16:39) IMDb member since September 2012 I am possibly one of the most anti-religious people ever, but when I heard that this got an Oscar nod for best song, I looked it up on itunes and then on youtube and was awe-struck by how beautiful the title song was. It saddens me slightly that it has been withdrawn and am curious about why they did so. http://youtu.be/ysGHhXAcKgo

NCTexan
Day 4 and counting... Actor Hoffman died. Still Top headlines everywhere! This was sad and I was sorry to hear when it happened, but I did not even recognize the name.... I choose to live in a hole concerning celebreties and their goings on. I fully expect to see the Google page dedicated to him on February 2, 2015. BTW... I'm tired of seeing comments all over the place telling us not to "judge" him. Fortunately I don't have to judge... that is done by someone of a higher "pay grade" than myself. However I have opinions just based on the facts that I am presented... and I covet my right to them. All too often today the attempt to "not be judgemental" turns into an "accept everything" mindset and moral relativism.
