Geee
Romney is sounding good tonight. Hmmmm. I really did not like his healthcare explanation.
Rheo
Santorum came off as kind of a jerk with his response on states' rights. JMO... Ha. I thought he was doing better. Have a hard time with him, granted haven't paid much attention to him.
Geee
Has Gary Johnson dropped out or just not participating tonight? Is someone else (declared) missing also?
Rheo
Has Gary Johnson dropped out or just not participating tonight? Is someone else (declared) missing also? I can't think of who yet, but I think they said they would discuss the missing next.

WestVirginiaRebel
I think Santorum did better with economic issues. Winner so far: Newt. Asking candidates about Rick Perry.
Rheo
Bachmann left the stage and is now back. Damn bladder.
Argyle58
I have to say that I'm not a Newt fan, but at this point I would have to say he is the winner of this debate. The best answers and the most Presidential comportment. Cain would be second. He lacks delivery, but has good ideas.
Saltbag
So far Cain has been credited and not contested by the others. Smells like VP staging.

Rheo
Haven't been impressed w/Pawlenty tonight but he does keep bringing it back to Obama.

It is too bad he has baggage, but I think most of them will have something, as evidenced by what they are saving about each other and what the questioners are saying. Rheo
Every one of these people on the stage are worlds better than the dem side. Newt is taking no shite from these questions.
WestVirginiaRebel
Newt: We need to rethink everything in the region. "A president who changes his mind every other day.."

Rheo
How can the people of the US listen to these debates and still vote for a dem? I mean really. They offer ideas, solutions and plans. The dems blame others and use scare tactics and class/race/warfare, etc., etc.
Argyle58
At this point, if I were to pick a candidate who could out debate the "o" and TOTUS, it would be Newt.
nickydog
This is a fiesty debate. Pawlenty said he would mow only one acre of Romney's yard -- implying Romney has a ve-e-ery big yard. Herman Cain is being left out, IMO. Can you believe the debate started at 3:00 p.m. in HI? Ron Paul is getting the most cheers from the audience. Geee
Yep-any one of these guys is a major improvement. Someone who no doubt loves their country and wants to actually solve it's problems!!

WestVirginiaRebel
Bachmann: Foreign terrorists do not have the same rights as Americans. Will do everything to make sure that Iran doesn't become a nuclear power. Paul: We already have tried and convicted terrorists in court. (He's actually right about this but I think the circumstances were different.)
