The fringe-left group is the Chicago chapter of the Revolutionary Communist Party — a Maoist outfit which advocates violent insurgency. Its membership is mostly white. I am kind of getting irritated with the wording of some of the press coverage. After the first night the violence was quelled, but the press seemed like they were still trying to stoke the flames. The same night as the original disturbance, seven people were shot that had nothing to do with the 'riot'. How many people know THAT? The second night someone was shot during the protest - hey this has become usual in Milwaukee. Last night nothing, but the above article refers to 'riot torn Milwaukee' !!!! The first night seven stores - second night one person shot (as I said that would be a slow Milwaukee night), more cops then demonstrators - third night, nothing.
