So you then make the argument that it benefits us all with lower prices or some such. Communities do the same thing. Argue that taking of a private property for a casino or store benefits the public thru higher taxes. It is a mess. Probably at least out to require any activity with eminent domain go to public vote, but I suspect even then if the city wants your property for a project the voters will go against you. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
