al-sharpton-some-people-exploiting-differences-between-us-their-own-advantageCNS News:

(CNSNews.com) – Reverend Al Sharpton, known for racially divisive rhetoric as an activist, political candidate, and talk show host, accused conservatives Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly -- who he termed “the unholy triumvirate of right-wing reaction” -- of “exploiting differences between us for their own advantage” following the George Zimmerman verdict.

“We have a long history in this country of some people exploiting differences between us for their own advantage,” Sharpton said on his MSNBC talk show, Politics Nation, on Friday. “It’s a cynical appeal to the worst instincts in our great country.”Scissors-32x32.png

Stupid Liberal Quote of the Day- August 4th Edition MSNBC...The Gift That Keeps On Giving

By: davenj1 (Diary) | August 4th, 2013 at 09:02 AM

On Thursday’s edition of “PoliticsNation,” the MSNBC outlet for celebrated race-baiter Al Sharpton, his two panelists were liberal radio talk show host Joe Madison and MSNBC something Krystal Ball. We all know the Al Sharpton. He is the eloquent-speaking civil rights “leader” that cannot help but to inject himself into anything approaching controversy in this country and then somehow seeing a racial motivation behind that controversy. He da man who subsumed da people of Florida be ignent. In fact, there is a whole slew of controversial actions and statements surrounding Sharpton- a list too long to recount here. Joe Madison is a liberal talk show host out of Detroit. He also has an XM/Sirius radio show geared towards African-Americans called “The Power.”So right off the bat, we see some philosophical similarities between Sharpton and Madison. It should be noted that at the ripe old age of 24, he was the chapter president of the Detroit NAACP which, given recent headlines surrounding that city, is hardly anything to be proud of. Krystal Ball passes herself off as a MSNBC political analyst and is a member of the panel on the totally laughable answer to Fox’s “The Five,” a show called “The Cycle.” That show has the equally laughable Toure as another of the panelists. According to MSNBC, apparently one dismal run for Congress qualifies you to be a political analyst these days. The fact is that there is nothing in her relatively short past to assume she possesses those qualifications. She has two redeeming qualities. The first is her voice which reminds one of a possibly retired porn star. The second is that she is so politically clueless that her naive views can do nothing but elicit a smile. Other than that, she is a totally disposable voice on the Left. Scissors-32x32.pnghttp://www.redstate.com/davenj1/2013/08/04/stupid-liberal-quote-of-the-day-august-4th-edition/

OH MY! The first thought that came to my mind is a perfectly good old analogy but if I used it here I am sure I would be labeled racist by some out there today .

Al Sharpton is a "black hole" of ignorance... sucking ignorance from both his constituency and the Libs who give him their platform.

DALLAS – What do "black hole," "angel food cake," and "devil's food cake" have in common?

They're all racist terms, says a Dallas County, Texas, official.

A county commissioners' meeting this week over traffic tickets turned into a tense discussion over race when one commissioner said the county's collections office was like a certain astronomical phenomenon.

"It sounds like Central Collections has become a black hole," Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said during the Monday meeting.

One black official demanded an apology, and Commissioner John Wiley Price, who also is black, said that type of language is unacceptable.

This reminds me of one of my own pet peeves - the people color labels.

White people are no more white than black people are black.

The vast majority of Americans are not African Americans either. They are Americans. PERIOD. I do know an African American. She is a friend of mine who was born and grew up in Africa, married an American and is now an American herself.

And yes, I know I use labels like everyone else. Can't be helped in today's society.

Still bugs me.

(Don't get me started talking about light and colors and spectrum and reflection and absorptions. Would bore you to death.)

I don't really mind the "black, white, etc identification"... except when the the PC word police come in.

"Colored People" has become unacceptable except when used by the NAACP... or switch to say "People of Color".

Now "Black" is sometimes not acceptable when used by "white people" since it should be African-American even if the peoples heritage has been in the US or Caribbean for hundreds of years. The exception that it's OK is with the Black Panthers, Black Entertainment Television, Congressional Black Caucus, or Miss Black America.

The ultimate irritation to me is the "hyphenated" American syndrome... whether it's preceded by African, Mexican, Italian, etc. The only exception that I buy to this is if you just "got off the boat" from the mother country.

I was only half-listening (we had just returned from our vacation and I was jet lagged big time) to the car radio and a conversation on Fox news about the term "brown bag" (meaning lunch) now being offensive to "People of Color"/African Americans. Has anyone else heard about that? So now we can't refer to a lunch sack as being a brown bag??

I wonder sometimes if these people understand how mind blowingly stupid they sound?

Nope... for the most part.

Must have been of a "sick day" when the concept of "Black Holes" was covered in their science class.

This kind of "thinking" comes from viewing every person, word, or situation primarily though the lens of your skin color.

.... come to think of it, this product kinda offends me!

I am seriously wondering when the White House is going to painted - probably green.

When the current occupants move out they'll have to fumigate and paint inside and out.
