How Taxpayers Will Heavily Subsidize Democrat Boots on the Ground This Election

Progressives are using legal loopholes and the power of the federal government to maximize Democrat votes in the 2024 election at taxpayers’ expense, RealClearInvestigations has found.

The methods include voter registration and mobilization campaigns by ostensibly nonpartisan charities that target Democrats using demographic data as proxies, and the Biden administration’s unprecedented demand that every federal agency “consider ways to expand citizens’ opportunities to register to vote and to obtain information about, and participate in, the electoral process.”

A dizzying array of overwhelmingly “democracy-focused” entities with ties to the Democratic Party operating as charities and funded with hundreds of millions of dollars from major liberal “dark money” vehicles are engaged in a sprawling campaign to register the voters, deliver them the ballots, and figuratively and sometimes literally harvest the votes necessary to defeat Donald Trump.:snip:

GOP AGs fume over Justice Department's plans to 'intrude' in states' elections

A cohort of state attorneys general are warning the Justice Department against plans they claim Attorney General Merrick Garland signaled "intrude" on their states’ authority to carry out elections.

Led by Republican Attorney General Todd Rokita of Indiana, the group of 16 GOP prosecutors wrote to Attorney General Merrick Garland on Wednesday criticizing his comments from March 3 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Selma, Alabama, in which he claimed that "democracy" is under attack by "discriminatory, burdensome, and unnecessary restrictions on access to the ballot."

"The DOJ has no authority to dictate to the states in matters that concern their sovereign right to ensure safe, secure, and free elections," the letter says.:snip:

Biden EPA Giving Millions To ‘Immigrant Justice’ Groups Registering, ‘Mobilizing’ Dem-Leaning Voting Bloc

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is handing out millions of taxpayer dollars to a coalition featuring two immigration-focused activist organizations, one which pushes voter registration for traditionally Democrat-leaning demographics.

As part of a $600 million round of grant funding issued in December 2023 to advance “environmental justice,” the EPA gave out $50 million to a Fordham University-led coalition including the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) and the New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice (NJAIJ). The NYIC explicitly engages in “nationally recognized” voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts and pushed for a New York City law that allows non-citizens to vote, while the NJAIJ has advocated for same-day voter registration and maintains a voter registration portal on its website.:snip:

GOP secretaries of state, legislators fight against ‘Bidenbucks,’ federalization of GOTV efforts

Republican secretaries of state and state legislators are pushing back against “Bidenbucks,” what call the federalization of voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts, claiming that the executive order is unlawful

West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner and Mississippi Secretary of State Michael Watson, along with Republicans in the Pennsylvania legislature, are fighting President Biden’s Executive Order 14019 from March 2021, which turns federal agencies into "Get Out The Vote" (GOTV) centers across all states.

The executive order is often referred to by critics as “Bidenbucks,” which alludes to "Zuckerbucks," the approximately $400 million from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg widely alleged to have been funneled through left-leaning nonprofits to turn out the Democratic vote in the 2020 presidential election.:snip:

Democratic dark money giants bankroll ‘nonpartisan’ activists behind 2024 Latino voter turnout operation

A press release followed by an Axios write-up this week zeroed in on a sprawling new partnership ahead of the 2024 election between TelevisaUnivision, the world’s largest Spanish-language media company, and “nonpartisan” groups to register and mobilize Hispanic voters across the United States. It’s called Vota Conmigo — or Vote With Me.

The collaboration “will provide comprehensive, nonpartisan, and Spanish language educational resources, drive record voter engagement and fight misinformation in the Hispanic community during this election cycle,” the press release said.:snip:

The Democrats’ Plan To Steal The Presidency For Good

While Americans brace for another contentious presidential election, the Democrats have a better idea: Subvert the Constitution in the name of “democracy.” Once again, the party of the left shows why it’s losing Americans’ trust.

Quietly but steadily, the Democratic Party has been advancing its latest bold idea to create a uni-party state: A “National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.”

In case you missed it, the Associated Press reported last week that “Maine will become the latest to join a multistate effort to elect the president by popular vote,” the 17th state to do so.

As the AP noted, “Under the proposed compact, each state would allocate all its electoral votes to whoever wins the national popular vote for president, regardless of how individual states voted in an election.”:snip:

Democrats launch early efforts to persuade undecided voters

Democratic groups are ramping up persuasion efforts to convince undecided voters to cast ballots for President Biden.

In an election where enthusiasm is low and voters are lukewarm on support for both parties’ candidates, Democrats are focusing on early persuasion in battleground states to help sway so-called surge voters — the part of the electorate who sat out during the 2016 presidential race but backed Biden during the 2020 cycle.

The Democrats say they’re seeing a need to launch these efforts earlier than usual because of the unprecedented race between Biden and former President Trump and threats from third-party candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

This week, for example, the progressive activist group MoveOn is intensifying the persuasion phase of a $32 million election program, which will engage those much-desired voters, sources tell The Hill.

Biden lags Trump across several polls, which have strategists saying the early contact is essential.

As part of their efforts, MoveOn members will participate in house parties beginning later this week to strengthen local connections with voters. Those parties will focus on what they say is one of their marquee issues: abortion.

Organizers at MoveOn say issues like abortion and the fight for democracy have shown to be motivating for Democratic-leaning voters.

MoveOn’s persuasion efforts will be handled by three “personalized contacts,” the sources say, which include phone, postcards and through in-person door-knocking, the sources say.:snip:

The Bidenbucks threat to free and fair elections

Since Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg poured more than $400 million into liberal nonprofit organizations to help local election administrators increase voter turnout in places likely to vote for the Democratic Party in the 2020 election, 28 states have passed laws banning the use of private money to administer public elections.

President Joe Biden, however, has found a way around this, and it involves spending your tax dollars.

On March 7, 2021, he issued Executive Order 14019, which directs political appointees at every federal agency to “promote voter registration and voter participation.”

Every eligible citizen who wishes to vote should have the opportunity to do so, but only the most naive will think political appointees, people whose jobs depend on Biden winning reelection, would develop their voter registration and participation plans in a nonpartisan manner.

Biden’s political appointees will inevitably use the power of the federal government to target their registration and voting efforts on those voters most likely to support Democratic candidates. :snip:
