One radio host is giving lawmakers food for thought.

Joe Madison, the host of Sirius XM's Urban View, announced on Monday that he was going on a hunger strike as a "redress to what is just plain politically and morally wrong" in light of GOP efforts to stonewall Democratic-backed voting reforms.

"As a political protest, I am beginning a hunger strike today by abstaining from eating any solid food until Congress passes and President Biden signs the Freedom to Vote Act or the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act," he said.
