La Palma volcano (Canary Islands (Spain)) activity update: Yellow alert for Cumbre Vieja declared / VolcanoDiscovery

 

Geologists have suggested that the west side of La Palma could potentially break away in a massive landslide that would send out a "super tsunami" that would swamp the east coast of the US.

The threat isn't immediate and this report doesn't seem that ominous, but given the way the world is spiraling downward who knows?
