I read a while ago The Wehrmacht never used the word Blitzkrieg. 2. Like so many wars WWII was started by miscalculation on Hitlers part. He ddin't believe Britain & France would go to war for Poland,when they didn't for Czechoslovakia. They had no way of actually providing support for Poland, unlike Czechoslovakia.
