Parents were arrested while protesting against Critical Race Theory (CRT) and a transgender policy at a Virginia school board meeting Tuesday.

The meeting in Loudoun County, Virginia abruptly ended after the crowd became too rowdy and was later declared an unlawful assembly, footage posted to Twitter showed.

Two arrests were reportedly made for trespassing after some parents refused to leave.

Kudos to black AND white parents mounting an uprising against race theory

Karol Markowicz

June 23, 2021

The headlines call it “parents erupting” at school-board meetings. But what we’re seeing is an inspiring surge in parents across the country sticking up for kids, and their education, in unprecedented ways.

These parents are fighting the critical race theory being implemented in schools. The left argues parents don’t actually know what CRT is, that an unwashed rabble is blindly opposing something it doesn’t understand.

Liberal talking heads and politicians are trying to pretend these parents want to stop schools from teaching about slavery or Jim Crow. That’s simply untrue. Every viral speech of a parent speaking out against CRT shows how clearly they understand what CRT is and why it’s a threat to their children.

Some of the most powerful speeches have come from black parents, such as Keisha King in Duval County, Fla., who argued, “Telling my child or any child that they are in a permanent oppressed status in America because they are black is racist.”

Massachusetts School District Segregates Students/Staff Based on Race

June 25 2021

One by one, school districts across the country are being overcome by a racist madness, and we are doing everything we can to expose this leftist totalitarian assault on children and teachers. The latest horror story occurs in Massachusetts.

We received 111 pages of records from Wellesley Public Schools in Massachusetts which confirm the use of “affinity spaces” that divide students and staff based on race as a priority and objective of the school district’s “diversity, equity and inclusion” plan. The school district also admitted that between September 1, 2020 and May 17, 2021, it created “five distinct” segregated spaces.

We obtained the records after filing a May 17 Massachusetts Public Records Law request for records concerning the number of affinity spaces, the policies regarding their creation and use, the topics discussed, and any analysis of whether affinity spaces that exclude certain races are consistent with state and federal law, which would include the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the MA Equal Rights Amendment and/or the MA School Attendance Law.

The Wellesley Public School records include a document detailing the school district’s “Equity Strategic Plan 2020-2025,” which includes a “District Equity by Design” plan with the stated goal of amplifying student voices by providing “opportunities for affinity spaces for students with shared identity.”

Virginia PTA Moves to Dissolve Parent Group After CRT Opponents Won a Majority

Outraged parents spoke up against CRT and won a majority in the Parent Teacher Student Association earlier this month. Harry Jackson, who became the parent group’s first black president-elect, ran on an anti-CRT platform. Yet the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Virginia sent a letter telling Jackson and his fellow leaders that the state body intends to dissolve the TJ parent group.

The Virginia PTA claimed that the recently elected candidates skirted bylaws and created a “hostile environment” for members, The Washington Free Beacon reported. The Virginia PTA would circumvent the results of the referendum on Fairfax County Public Schools if it decided to eliminate TJ’s parent board.

June 28 2021

This is highlights of the Pennsbury School Board meeting May 20, 2021. The full unedited meeting is available on my channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEIgM.... The original source of the tape is the Pennsbury School District: http://video.pennsburysd.org/video/55.... For over a month Pennsbury had cut a portion of public comment out of the tape. Only after national media scrutiny did the school district finally capitulate and release the unedited version on approximately June 25, 2021. There are no Republicans on the Pennsbury school board. All nine (9) school board directors are Democrats. We now get to see what the school board didn't want the public to see.

Union-Linked Coalition Scripts ‘Messaging’ To Counter Parental Pushback Against Critical Race Theory

William A. Jacobson

July 5, 2021

(Snip)

The opposition to CRT, we’ve been told, seeks to bar teaching historical truths and even “banning conversations about racism.” The messaging has been remarkably consistent, and erupted in the media in mid-June 2021, as we documented in two posts:

Was this media and activist frenzy organic, or itself astroturf?

Maybe it’s just coincidence, but shortly before the mid-June frenzy, a large coalition of over 300 progressive educational and union groups, over a dozen major left-leaning foundations and a parade of affiliated “influencers,” rolled out a CRT Messaging Guide with talking points identical to those repeated almost daily by teachers unions, in major newspapers, on MSNBC and CNN, and in digital media.

@MISBAILEY

Here's the thing. CNN had a golden opportunity to really educate  people on  this, by showing the best of both sides (leaders & followers). They could have done a real service to their viewers and the Public. But once again CNN fails. Which is why its going  down the tubes.

I agree CNN had an opportunity and failed. it's just good to see people starting to fight back.

I have to give the proponents of CRT credit. They have been Very Good at spreading their ideology throughout society. The problem is the mask is off. It could be they started to believe their own propaganda, or hubris struck, or Donald Trump scared them into moving to fast, or maybe they are just not as Bright as they think they are.

Private school expels children of moms, who advocate against critical race theory in school

Two Ohio mothers spoke out Wednesday morning after their children were expelled from a private school due to the mothers pushing back against critical race theory.

Columbus Academy is denying re-enrollment to several students, alleging that their mothers breached part of their contract by leading a public campaign against the school's purported attempt to "indoctrinate" students with left-wing ideas.

"I feel like it is unfortunate that when you are speaking out and you are trying to say your truth, unfortunately, there are people who want to retaliate against you. In this case, they retaliated against our children, who are innocent," Andrea Gross told "Fox & Friends First," alongside Amy Gonzalez.:snip:

Problem Solved!

School district limits public comment after community backlash over critical race theory

(Snip)

District 196 — which consists of schools from Rosemount, Apple Valley, and Eagan — recently changed its policies on the open forum portion of its school board meetings.

The school board previously allowed five minutes per speaker and an unlimited number of people to voice their concerns at each monthly school board meeting. Now, the school board’s new policy allows a maximum of 10 speakers at each meeting and gives each speaker four minutes to address the school board.

They are also implementing hour-long, monthly “community listening sessions,” during which anyone can attend and speak, according to an announcement from the district. The listening sessions will be attended by up to three school board members.

In a livestream of the June 28 school board meeting, Chairperson Jackie Magnuson said the listening sessions will not be streamed online or made available for the general public to watch.

Rochester School Board cuts mic when anti-CRT group begins praying

The group began to recite the Lord’s Prayer at the meeting after the public comment portion concluded, which Rochester Public Schools muted on its livestream.

Megan Olson

July 15, 2021

A group of parents, students, and community members attended the school board meeting for Rochester Public Schools on July 13 to raise concerns over the mandatory mask policy and critical race theory.

The meeting drew over 50 people and was standing-room only. A handful of people brought signs to the meeting as well. Before the formal meeting during the public comment time allotment, a number of community members addressed the school board.

Virginia Teacher Placed On ‘Administrative Leave’ After Questioning The District’s Equity Training Program

Chrissy Clark

Jul 28, 2021

A Virginia teacher with an exemplary record was placed on administrative leave after questioning the school district’s equity training program.

Shelly Norden, an English and journalism teacher in Fauquier County Public Schools, ran one of the top journalism programs in the state and won the Kettle Run High School’s 2016 “Teacher of the Year” award. But Norden says administrators target her for speaking out against an equity training program.

“I’m not a rabble-rouser,” Norden, who is also a taxpayer in Fauquier County, told The Daily Wire in an interview. “But this wasn’t right, so I started speaking out against it.”

The training program, called Deep Equity, was founded by Gary Howard, a white man who believes that white people “are collectively bound and unavoidably complicit in the arrangements of dominance that have systematically favored our racial group over others.”
