A ballot-harvesting racket in Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Minneapolis district — where paid workers illegally gather absentee ballots from elderly Somali immigrants — has been busted by undercover news organization Project Veritas.

One alleged ballot harvester, Liban Mohamed, the brother of Minneapolis city council member Jamal Osman, is shown in a bombshell Snapchat video rifling through piles of ballots strewn across his dashboard.

“Just today we got 300 for Jamal Osman,” says Mohamed, aka KingLiban1, in the video. “I have 300 ballots in my car right now . . .

*The video, posted on July 1, was obtained by Project Veritas and included in a 17-minute video expose released Sunday night.

Under Minnesota law no individual can be the “designated agent” for more than three absentee voters.

Omar political machine linked to ballot-harvesting, stuffed ballot boxes, and cash-for-votes in Minnesota -Project Veritas

Ever wondered why Rep. Ilhan Omar, whose far-left, anti-American politics ought to be enough to get her thrown out of office in a place like Minnesota, has such a safe congressional seat?

Project Veritas, led by James O'Keefe, has found the answer, and it's pretty repulsive. According to John Fund at National Review:

O’Keefe has uncovered what appears to be a massive ongoing voter-fraud scheme in Minneapolis. It is linked to the political machine of Ilhan Omar, the congresswoman from Minnesota’s fifth district (Minneapolis) and a close ally of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the U.S. House.

The unwitting star of the show caught on candid camera, Liban Mohamad, is what's known as a "ballot broker." He boasts of keeping  hundreds of absentee ballots in his car and admits some are filled in by non-voters. Others are paid for. Some are the doing of Somali nationals bused in from elsewhere. And witnesses working with the local sheriff's office tie the incredible fraud most closely to the campaign chairman of Rep. Ilhan Omar, who uses the state's loose election laws to the hilt. Here's how ugly it is::snip:

Trump calls for investigation into Rep. Omar over ‘ballot harvesting’ claims

By Mark Moore

September 28, 2020 | 8:05am | Updated

President Trump has called for an investigation into Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar for alleged “ballot harvesting” in Minnesota.

“This is totally illegal. Hope that the U.S. Attorney in Minnesota has this, and other of her many misdeeds, under serious review??? If not, why not???,” the president tweeted early Monday morning.

“We will win Minnesota because of her, and law enforcement. Saved Minneapolis & Iron O Range!,” he continued.

Investigative reporter David Steinberg explains to Glenn how new video MAY provide enough evidence to begin a FBI investigation into alleged illegal practices by Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's campaign. In the video, produced and released by Project Veritas, residents of Omar’s community describe campaign teams that not only conduct illegal ballot harvesting practices but PAY people for their blank absentee ballots as well. And, Steinberg says, if true, these charges DO allow for the federal government to bypass Omar’s friend and protector, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. So, could 2020 be the beginning of the end for Omar’s political career?

Minneapolis police investigating alleged ballot harvesting scheme by Omar associates

Omar responded by mocking President Trump over a report detailing his taxes

By Sam Dorman | Fox News

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating claims by right-wing activist group Project Veritas that individuals tied to Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., engaged in illegal ballot harvesting before the election.

"We are in the process of looking into the validity of those statements," a department statement read on Monday. "No further information is available at this time on this."

Project Veritas' latest video lit up social media as it came just weeks before a presidential election that is expected to see a surge in absentee or mail-in voting. In Minnesota, the issue has come under judicial scrutiny as Republicans and Democrats battled over a measure that would limit the number of ballots a third party could hold for others.

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the state's Supreme Court recently allowed voting to proceed without a three-person limit on the number of ballots any one individual can collect.

President Trump has already called on the Justice Department to investigate the claims, which include allegations of a cash-for-ballot scheme.

Local Press Runs Interference on Voter Fraud In Minnesota

John Hinderaker

September 28, 2020

The Star Tribune reluctantly reports on Project Veritas’s explosive video on voter fraud in Minnesota. Mostly, the Strib runs interference for its party, starting with the headline: “Trump seizes on conservative group’s claim of fraud in Minneapolis election.” When Republicans “seize” or “pounce,” you know Democrats are short on answers.

The Strib tries to poison the well against Project Veritas:

Quote

Minnesota Democrats countered Monday that Republicans are trying to “subvert a fair and free election.” They also challenged the legitimacy of the allegations from Project Veritas, a group with a controversial history of using undercover tactics and selectively edited video to try to expose what they say is corruption on the left and in the media.

Voter fraud in Minnesota, cont’d

Scott Johnson

Sept. 29 2020

Project Veritas has posted its second video exploring voter fraud in the Fifth Congressional District’s Somali community. St. Paul’s own Omar Jamal is our guide. One Osman Ali Dahquane is the star of this episode. I find the who/what/where/when/why a bit lacking here, but there is more than enough to require investigation by the authorities.

From former Nation of Islam hustler Keith Ellison in the office of the Minnesota Attorney General at the top, the authorities are Democrats all the way down. That’s a problem. Assuming federal law is implicated, this is a job for United States Attorney Erica MacDonald.

Biden’s Texas Political Director Implicated in Massive Mail-In Ballot Harvesting Scheme in Harris County

Debra Heine

September 28, 2020

A Biden Campaign operative in Texas is attempting to rig the 2020 election with the help of others in a massive ballot harvesting scheme, according to two private investigators who testified under oath that they have “video evidence, documentation and witnesses” to prove it. With the help of mass mail-in ballots, the illegal ballot harvesting operation could harvest 700,000 ballots, one Harris County Democrat operative allegedly bragged.

The investigators—a former FBI agent and former police officer—claim that Biden’s Texas Political Director Dallas Jones and his cohorts have been “hoarding mail-in and absentee ballots” and ordering operatives to them fill out for people in Harris County illegally, “including dead people, homeless people, and nursing home residents in the 2020 presidential election,”  Patrick Howley of the National File reported.

While law enforcement agencies are reportedly investigating these potential crimes, nothing will be done about it until “well after the November 3, 2020 election” the former FBI agent said.

Dallas Jones was appointed the Biden campaign’s Texas Political Director in late August.

Subject of Project Veritas report on alleged ballot harvesting in Minnesota says he was offered bribe

Mike Brest, Breaking News Reporter

October 06, 2020 11:12 AM

One of the men shown in the video that spurred a police investigation into alleged ballot harvesting in Minnesota is recounting his side of the story for the first time.

Liban Osman, who was caught boasting about the large number of ballots he had collected in a video that was released last month by the conservative investigative group Project Veritas, claimed that he was offered a $10,000 bribe by community activist Omar Jamal, according to Fox 9. A representative from the activist group denied the allegations of attempted bribery.

“He was setting me up,” Osman, the brother of Minneapolis City Council member Jamal Osman, said of Omar Jamal in the report that was published Monday evening.

Liban Osman denied filling out the ballots or altering them in any way. In the video, recorded in July, he bragged about collecting “300 ballots for Jamal Osman," but he told the outlet the number is actually closer to 20.
