Geee
Townhall Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer slammed former President Obama for his “condescending” acceptance speech at the JFK Library on Sunday, where he lectured Congress on being courageous and defending the Affordable Care Act. "I hope that current members of Congress recognize it takes little courage to aid those who are already powerful, already comfortable, already influential, but it takes great courage to champion the vulnerable and the sick and the infirm," Obama said during his speech. Krauthammer said Obama’s comments were a veiled swipe at Republicans’ American Health Care Act, and served as a good reminder to be thankful he’s out of office. “It’s been a full 100 days but it’s nice to be reminded of why we should be grateful as a nation that he is gone,” Krauthammer said. Geee
THE INSUFFERABLE MR. OBAMA President Obama is still lying about Obamacare, peddling the fiction that it covered 20 million people who lacked health insurance and that the Democrats who voted in favor of it made out “profiles in courage” rather than pols following the party line. Accepting the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award on Sunday, Obama spoke at what felt like Castroite length (text and video here). All that was missing was the traditional leftist praise of “free” Cuban health care. Instead, Obama added this: t is my fervent hope and the hope of millions that regardless of party, such courage is still possible, that today’s members of Congress, regardless of party, are willing to look at the facts and speak the truth even when it contradicts party positions.
