     For the “Average Joe” Rhode Islander the road to prosperity and the American Dream lies somewhere beyond this broken state. Battle weary from unreckoned public corruption, coercive wealth distribution, and an ever deteriorating quality of life, natives and transplants after decades of establishing roots, raising a family and chasing the American Dream are plotting their escape to friendly territory.

     Smith Hill as a body has long since abandoned its duty to govern. It has morphed over decades where interest of the great unwashed rank a distant last behind the Democratic Party the unofficial 4^th branch of government Organized Labor, crony capitalism and pandering to identity politics.
