Geee Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 Washington Examiner: Oscar-winning actor and climate activist Leonardo DiCaprio met with President-elect Donald Trump Wednesday in New York to discuss a green jobs plan. DiCaprio together with officials from his philanthropic Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation visited to present Trump and his advisers with a green jobs "framework." The foundation developed the framework "in consultation with leading voices in the fields of economics and environmentalism — that details how to unleash a major economic revival across the United States that is centered on investments in sustainable infrastructure," according to a statement issued after the meeting. "Our conversation focused on how create millions of secure, American jobs in the construction and operation of commercial and residential clean, renewable energy generation," it added.
