Valin
Power Line: Steven Hayward November 12, 2016 Really, what else is there to say? Well, lots of course. Just keeping up with the leftist idiocy in the aftermath of The Trumpening is practically a full time job for us right now. More importantly, the occasion calls for a special double-issue of the Week in Pictures, not only with highlights from this week, but some Trumpian highlights from the last 18 months of our regular Saturday feature. Many of them turned out to be prescient. Settle in with a tall cup of coffee. This is going to be epic. (Snip) (Snip) (Snip) (Snip) Literacy at work. (Snip) (Snip) I have a hunch “dissent is the highest form of patriotism” is about to come back into fashion on the left. (Snip) (Snip) (Snip) (Snip) (Snip) And penultimately, the first First Lady of the United States who qualifies for Power Line’s empowered feminist of the week slot: And Finally... How come we never had Sergeants like her when I was in?
Valin
Monday in Pictures: The Epic Trumpening Supplemental Steven Hayward November 14, 2016I think I’ve figured out why liberals are losing their minds over Trump’s stunning upset: It’s starting to sink in that the Clintons have torpedoed a second presidential election. But for Bill’s peccadillos, Al Gore would very likely have won the electoral college contest in 2000. And but for Hillary’s baggage, they might well have won this one. There may be some karmic justice after all. Meanwhile, the memes and cartoons are piling up so fast that if I wait until Saturday I’ll probably have 1,000. So enjoy!
