FBI-announces-not-change-decision-regarding-Hillary-Clinton-s-emails.htmlDaily Mail:

The FBI has announced it will not make any changes to its July decision on Hillary Clinton's emails, meaning the Democratic nominee will not be charged.

Congressman Jason Chaffetz tweeted out the massive news on Sunday afternoon.

'FBI Dir just informed us 'Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July with respect to Sec Clinton',' Chaffetz wrote.

Speaking to reporters with Clinton in Cleveland, Ohio, Director of Communications Jennifer Palmieri confirmed the camp had seen Comey's letter.

'We have seen Director Comey's latest letter to the Hill. We are glad to see that he has found, as we were confident that he would, that he has confirmed the conclusion that he reached in July, and we're glad that this matter is resolved,' Palmieri said.Scissors-32x32.png

The only reason I can see for Comey to send this carefully worded letter now is to influence the election in favor of Hillary because he knows that the media will report it as an exoneration of Hillary. It appears that Comey has succeeded as to the media. Whether he succeeds in getting Hillary elected president is up to you.

1st James Comey was a good guy...then he was throwing the election to Hillary Clinton...then he was throwing the election to Donald Trump now (evidently) he's throwing the election back to Hillary Clinton. I'm a little confused....is he a good gut or a bad guy?

OR, is he a guy trying to do his best in a really bad situation?

Well, one way or the other - his career is over. We all have different kind of tin foil hats - just about every one has skeletons in their closet - I often smell blackmail in many of these situations.

@Geee

James Comey has already reached the pinnacle of his law enforcement career. He was nominated and confirmed in 2013, his term of service is 10 years. In other words hes there till 2023.

"There is a federal statute that provides that the director has a 10-year term, but that provision does not constrain the president’s firing power, it merely limits his or her ability to keep a valued or friendly director in office after the expiration of the term. (No director can serve more than 10 years without some further legal action by the president, the Senate or Congress.)"

I don't think whoever wins, he won't be asked to leave. The 'prestigious' law and lobby firms in DC look for someone who has pull with one side or the other - which side does he have pull with now?

The Political Mr. Comey

The FBI director gives Democrats the conclusion they demanded

It looks like our contributor, former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, was right last week. FBI Director James Comey’s review of newly discovered Hillary Clinton-related emails was never going to change his legal judgment because the FBI and Justice Department handling of the case was never serious in the first place.

The Justice Department never went to a grand jury in the case, which was needed to gather all appropriate evidence and vet the legal charges. Judge Mukasey’s judgment was vindicated on Sunday when Mr. Comey sent a letter to Congress saying that the FBI had reviewed the new emails and “we have not changed our conclusion that we expressed in July with respect to Secretary Clinton.”

To rehearse Mr. Comey’s actions: In July he publicly exonerates Mrs. Clinton in an extraordinary press event, two weeks before she is to be nominated for President, though that is not his responsibility. He thus liberates Attorney General Loretta Lynch from her decision-making obligations as the nation’s chief prosecuting official. Later we learn Justice cut needless and generous immunity deals with Mrs. Clinton’s advisers. Scissors-32x32.png

Megyn Kelly Couldn’t Stop Beating Her Dead Horse of a Fox Scoop

Trey Gowdy and Reince Priebus assure Fox TV News Actress that Clinton is still bad—no matter what the FBI believes

By Joe Lapointe • 11/07/16 7:00am

Megyn Kelly could have corrected her mistakes and Fox’s mistakes Sunday night, live on the air, after Comey’s latest announcement. Instead, she interviewed Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina. The Kelly File/Fox

“I can’t even watch these stupid Sunday shows anymore.”

– Sean Hannity, Fox News Channel, Nov. 6, 2016

FBI director James Comey announced his latest “never mind” decision Sunday afternoon but it was too late for the major Sunday shows to relay the news.

He said all those recently discovered Hillary Clinton emails amounted to nothing, nothing at all. They were just duplicates of stuff his staff had already reviewed.

So the cable newsies had to catch up Sunday afternoon and evening with headlines like “FBI Clears Clinton Again” on the bottom of the CNN screen and “Sunday Surprise from FBI on Clinton Emails” on Fox News Channel. Scissors-32x32.png
