What if? Report looks at life without U.S. ‘energy renaissance’

MADISON, Wis. – Hillary Clinton has pledged to “stop fossil fuels.”

 

The Democratic presidential nominee vows to destroy fracking.

 

“By the time we get through all of my conditions, I do not think there will be many places in America where fracking will continue to take place.” Clinton said during a debate in March.

 

She and her allies in the extreme environmental movement – big liberal donors like billionaire climate change fanatic Tom Steyer – have pushed for anti-fossil fuel policies that would have cost millions of jobs and crippled the economy.

 

That’s according to a new report by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for 21st Century Energy.

 

FRACKING IMPRESSIVE: The U.S. economy would have been hundreds of billions of dollars poorer with more than 4 million fewer jobs in the absence of the energy boom of the past several years, a new U.S. Chamber of Commerce report finds.

 

The analysis, titled, “What If … America’s Energy Renaissance Never Actually Happened,” is the second installment in the chamber’s Energy Accountability Series.
