Valin
National Review/The Corner: Jim Geraghty August 19, 2016 Most political campaigns have only one manager in a cycle; Trump is on his third in two months. Corey Lewandowski was fired June 20, Paul Manafort took over, and Manafort departs today, leaving Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway managing the effort. It looks like Trump campaign managers have a life span of 60 days or so; we should be due for the next one by mid-October. At least they’re outlasting Spinal Tap drummers. Maybe this will be an improvement; then again, one can legitimately ask whether the biggest problem on the pre-June Trump campaign was Lewandowski or whether the biggest problem for past two months was Manafort. Donald Trump looks at the most important component of his campaign in the mirror every morning.
