Curt Schilling Open to 2018 Senate Run Against Elizabeth Warren

Curt Schilling, onetime Boston Red Sox pitcher and outspoken conservative, would consider running against Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) in 2018, he said Tuesday.

 

In an interview with WRKO radio in Boston, Schilling was asked about the station’s listener poll in which 98 percent of respondents said the former ESPN analyst should take a shot at politics.

 

“I like that number,” Schilling, who was fired from ESPN after sharing a controversial meme about all-gender bathrooms, said.

 

The host pushed, asking what office Schilling would consider: “State senator, state rep?”
