Valin Posted August 16, 2016 Share Posted August 16, 2016 House Oversight & Government Reform Committee: Aug 15 2016 WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) sent a letter to U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Channing Phillips identifying several examples where Secretary Hillary Clinton’s sworn testimony before Congress is incompatible with evidence collected during the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) investigation into the Secretary’s private email server. The letter is in response to a Department of Justice letter sent to Chairmen Chaffetz and Goodlatte last week saying the department will “take appropriate action as necessary” on the Chairmen’s request for an investigation into the matter.
