WestVirginiaRebel
The Blaze: Members of Congress will receive notes from Hillary Clinton’s Jul. 2 interview with the FBI over her private email server. Sources told CNN the notes from the 3 1/2 hour interview could be sent as early as Monday. FBI Director James Comey told Congress in a testimony earlier this summer that the bureau does not have a full transcript of the actual interview, adding that Clinton was not under oath. Members of Congress will, however, have access to notes taken during that interview. Following Director Comey’s testimony, several Republican lawmakers requested the information. Politico reported Saturday that the Obama Administration was debating over the proper way to release the documents. Director Comey ultimately concluded his testimony by noting that, while Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state was foolish and risky, there was no precedent for recommending criminal charges. The Justice Department concurred, resulting in the formal closure of the case. ________ The fine print.
