Draggingtree
Mises: Abolish the FBI2 HOURS AGO Ryan McMaken Like all employees of the FBI, James Comey lives off the sweat of the American taxpayer. His large salary, upon retirement, will be converted into a very generous pension. Like most federal employees in a high ranking position like his, Comey continues to look forward to decades of living at a standard of living far above what is experienced by ordinary people in the private sector. To maintain this life of comfort, all he had to do was agree to look the other way as a powerful politician clearly — by Comey's own admission — broke federal law. Naturally, this same treatment would never be afforded to an ordinary taxpayer, who would likely be looking at years in federal prison for offenses similar to that which Hillary Clinton has apparently committed. Moreover, Comey even went out of his way to do his best to ensure no federal prosecutor would proceed with charges when he claimed that "no reasonable prosecutor" would proceed with charges. It wasn't enough for Comey to simply not recommend charges. He had to pre-emptively condemn any prosecutor who might proceed with charges.

SrWoodchuck
And Then What Happens? Just a comment or two: Every "Alphabet Agency" has been militarized to make up Barky's Private Army...even the Dept. of Education, the EPA & the Social Security Administration. It doesn't match the armed populace in number of firearms & amounts of ammo...but it might have the backing of the military, since Barky & Company have been gutting it of conservative command officers...and the populace lacks cohesive leadership & command infrastructure for a civil war. We may be able to look back at this exact point (when the law no longer applied to the elite rich) and say, "This was the start of making the letters FBI (+IRS+BLM) as frightening as the KGB was to average Soviet citizens..." Unless or until, the "Rule of Law" universally covers all Americans again...we have a severe deficit of trust, at the time of our greatest danger. A lawless administration has crippled the military & now the leading civilian law enforcement agency. During the Progressive Socialist push towards One World Order...both domestically & as regards foreign policy...we are in dire straits... These mist covered mountains Are a home now for me But my home is the lowlands And always will be Some day you'll return to Your valleys and your farms And you'll no longer burn To be brothers in arm Through these fields of destruction Baptism of fire I've witnessed your suffering As the battles raged higher And though they did hurt me so bad In the fear and alarm You did not desert me My brothers in arms There's so many different worlds So many different suns And we have just one world But we live in different ones Now the sun's gone to hell And the moon's riding high Let me bid you farewell Every man has to die But it's written in the starlight And every line on your palm We're fools to make war On our brothers in arms
SrWoodchuck
From Ted Nugent: My American heart is bleeding. My American heart is broken. The runaway vile evil criminal corruption & abuse of power by all branches of our government is putrid & glaring. The obvious oath violating crimes by this president, congress, Clinton, AG, FBI, DOJ, IRS, DOD et all is stunning. Are they really asking for a revolution? Could there be any other explanation? Obama burning billions of tax dollars illegally for his America hating campaigning? The AG tampers with Orlando evidence & meets with the lying husband of the lying scamming candidate? And blind soulless sheep cheer them on? We take this s^#@! Not much longer you mthrfkrs. The IRS Needs Guns & Ammo??by Tom Coburn and Adam AndrzejewskiSpecial agents at the IRS equipped with AR-15 military-style rifles? Health and Human Services “Special Office of Inspector General Agents” being trained by the Army’s Special Forces contractors? The Department of Veterans Affairs arming 3,700 employees? The number of non-Defense Department federal officers authorized to make arrests and carry firearms (200,000) now exceeds the number of U.S. Marines (182,000). In its escalating arms and ammo stockpiling, this federal arms race is unlike anything in history. Over the last 20 years, the number of these federal officers with arrest-and-firearm authority has nearly tripled to over 200,000 today, from 74,500 in 1996.What exactly is the Obama administration up to?On Friday, June 17, our organization, American Transparency, is releasing its OpenTheBooks.com oversight report on the militarization of America. The report catalogs federal purchases of guns, ammunition and military-style equipment by seemingly bureaucratic federal agencies. During a nine-year period through 2014, we found, 67 agencies unaffiliated with the Department of Defense spent $1.48 billion on guns and ammo. Of that total, $335.1 million was spent by agencies traditionally viewed as regulatory or administrative, such as the Smithsonian Institution and the U.S. Mint. Some examples of spending from 2005 through 2014 raise the question: Who are they preparing to battle?• The Internal Revenue Service, which has 2,316 special agents, spent nearly $11 million on guns, ammunition and military-style equipment. That’s nearly $5,000 in gear for each agent.• The Department of Veterans Affairs, which has 3,700 law-enforcement officers guarding and securing VA medical centers, spent $11.66 million. It spent more than $200,000 on night-vision equipment, $2.3 million for body armor, more than $2 million on guns, and $3.6 million for ammunition. The VA employed no officers with firearm authorization as recently as 1995.• The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service spent $4.77 million purchasing shotguns, .308 caliber rifles, night-vision goggles, propane cannons, liquid explosives, pyro supplies, buckshot, LP gas cannons, drones, remote-control helicopters, thermal cameras, military waterproof thermal infrared scopes and more.• The Environmental Protection Agency spent $3.1 million on guns, ammunition and military-style equipment. The EPA has put nearly $800 million since 2005 into its “Criminal Enforcement Division.”• The Food and Drug Administration employs 183 heavily armed “special agents.”• The University of California, Berkeley acquired 14 5.56mm assault rifles and Yale University police accepted 20 5.56mm assault rifles from the Defense Department. Texas Southern University and Saddleback College police even acquired Mine Resistant Vehicles (MRVs).Other paper-pushing federal agencies with firearm-and-arrest authority that have expanded their arsenals since 2006 include the Small Business Administration, Social Security Administration, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Education Department, Energy Department, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, National Institute of Standards and Technology and many others.People from both ends of the political spectrum have expressed alarm at this trend. Conservatives argue that it is hypocritical, unconstitutional and costly for political leaders to undermine the Second Amendment while simultaneously equipping nonmilitary agencies with heavy weapons, hollow-point bullets and military-style equipment. Progressives like Sen. Bernie Sanders have raised civil liberties concerns about the militarization of local police with vehicles built for war and other heavy weaponry.Meanwhile, federal authorities are silent on the growing arsenal at federal agencies. In fact, we asked the IRS for an asset accounting of their gun locker—their guns and ammunition asset inventory by location. Their response? “We don’t have one [an inventory], but could create one for you, if important.”Our data shows that the federal government has become a gun show that never adjourns. Taxpayers need to tell Washington that police powers belong primarily to cities and states, not the feds.Dr. Coburn is a physician and former U.S. senator from Oklahoma. He is the honorary chairman, and Mr. Andrzejewski is the founder and CEO, of OpenTheBooks.com, a repository of public-spending records.
