Starved for evidence of ordinary decency and/or conscience in the current political climate, I’ve come across something this morning that I’m almost pathetically grateful to see. Sure, it ought to be the bare minimum one expects of civilized people, but then, well, you know. So here it is: A Trump supporter who pushed a black woman protester at a rally later regretted his actions. Alvin Bamberger, 75, a Korean War veteran, issued a statement to WSCH in Lawrence, KS. “I physically pushed a young woman down the aisle toward the exit, an action I sinerely regret. I have embarrassed myself, my family, and veterans. This was a very unfortunate incident and it is my sincere hope that I can be forgiven for my actions.”..............................(Snip)
