COLLEGE LEFTISTS EAT THEIR OWN: STUDENT ACTIVISTS DEMAND ‘RACIST’ WOODROW WILSON’S NAME BE STRIPPED FROM PRINCETON

In the vast effort to purge American history of anything out of step with the milieu of modern progressivism, college leftists have turned their wrath on one of the fathers of their movement: Woodrow Wilson.

 

The Washington Post reported on Thursday that the Princeton’s Black Justice League demands that Woodrow Wilson’s “racist legacy” be acknowledged and that his name be stripped from Princeton campus buildings.

The group demanded that the name of Woodrow Wilson, the 28th U.S. president, a segregationist who some believe supported the ideas of the Ku Klux Klan, be removed from a residential college, from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs, and any other buildings — and that his mural be scrubbed from the dining hall.

 

It is fitting that Wilson now be ejected from the progressive pantheon by his modern decedents with barely a murmur in protest. Radical activists have been remarkably successful in laying siege to nearly every famous Democrat of the past two centuries: old Confederates like Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis, the party’s most prominent early leaders Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson, and now its most eminent modern philosophical predecessor, Woodrow Wilson.

Georgia College Student Criticizes Black Lives Matter, Becomes Victim Of Witch Hunt

 

One young student at Georgia Southern University (GSU) is learning the consequences for publicly criticizing the racially-charged protests at the University of Missouri after being fired from her job and having a number of her fellow classmates demand her expulsion.

Emily Faz, a senior at the public university, shared a November 14 Washington Times article on Monday that reported on how some Mizzou protesters and Black Lives Matter activists were upset that the Paris attacks were stealing the media spotlight.

Faz wrote above the link, “I swear if I see this B.S. at Southern I will make you regret even knowing what a movement or a hashtag is, and you’ll walk away with your tail tucked.”

Oh, the Irony: Progressives Turn on Woodrow Wilson

The racially charged protests that have roiled 23 universities from Yale to the University of Missouri in recent weeks reached Princeton on Wednesday.

 

Members of the Black Justice League left their classes and occupied historic Nassau Hall, which houses the Princeton administration’s offices. They demanded that officials acknowledge the racist legacy of Woodrow Wilson — who was president of Princeton before becoming president of the United States — and expunge his name from anything named after him. They further demanded “cultural competency training” for anyone teaching at Princeton, courses on the “history of marginalized people,” and a designated public space for the exclusive use of black students.
