Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina fired back at Donald Trump on Thursday, after the billionaire real estate mogul likened Ben Carson’s “pathological” temper as a young man to the mental issues of a child molester.

“Donald, sorry, I've got to interrupt again,” Fiorina wrote on her Facebook page, referencing a moment from Tuesday’s presidential debate in which Trump chastised the former Hewlett Packard executive for interjecting.

“You would know something about pathological,” she continued. “How was that meeting with Putin? Or Wharton? Or your self funded campaign? Anyone can turn a multi-million dollar inheritance into more money, but all the money in the world won't make you as smart as Ben Carson.”

Earlier in the day, Trump said on CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront” that the temper Carson had as a young man, which Carson described in a book as “pathological,” is incurable.

"It's in the book that he's got a pathological temper," Trump said.

"That's a big problem because you don't cure that,” he said, adding: “As an example: child molesting. You don't cure these people. You don't cure a child molester. There's no cure for it. Pathological, there's no cure for that."Scissors-32x32.png

Carson campaign: Pray for Donald Trump

Ben Carson hopes Americans pray for Donald Trump after his GOP presidential rival compared him with child molesters.

“When I spoke with Dr. Carson about this yesterday [about] how we should respond, you know, he was so sad about it,” Armstrong Williams, Carson’s friend and business partner, told CNN Friday.

“He said: 'Pray for him,’ ” he said of Carson’s response. "He feels sorry because he really likes Mr. Trump. To see him just imploding before our very eyes — it’s sad to watch.”

Williams argued that Trump feels threatened by Carson’s close proximity with him in the race for next year’s Republican presidential nomination.

“Obviously, he only wants to be on the stage by himself, crowned the nominee and running against the eventual Democratic nominee,” he said.

“It is so immature; it is so embarrassing,” Williams added, noting Trump “cannot fathom” losing the 2016 GOP presidential primary.

Trump shocked listeners by linking Carson’s past struggles with violence and the tendencies of child molesters Thursday evening.Scissors-32x32.png

Knife fight: Trump ad asks if Carson is a 'violent criminal or pathological liar'

Donald Trump hit Ben Carson in a new Instagram ad, in which he wondered if his fellow GOP front-runner is a "violent criminal" or a "pathological liar."

The ad, released in honor of Friday the 13th, features an old Carson interview where he describes an incident in his childhood when he tried to stab someone in the abdomen. The Carson clip is followed by a clip of an old neighbor of his who said he never knew Carson to be that violent of a person.

Directly following, Trump's team asks whether or not Carson is a "violent criminal or a pathological liar," adding that "we don't need either as president."

Spooky music plays throughout the ad, playing off Friday being Friday the 13th.Scissors-32x32.png
