Can the Freedom Caucus Torch Ryan Too?

freedom-caucus-paul-ryanCommentary Magazine:

The race to determine the next Speaker of the House is on hold this week since Congress is out of town and won’t return until next Monday. In the meantime, the competition among Republicans to replace John Boehner now that Kevin McCarthy has imploded seems to boil down to one question: will Paul Ryan bite the bullet and agree to run. Most of those thinking about running, outside of Freedom Caucus favorite Daniel Webster, have already said they’ll pull out if the 2012 GOP vice presidential nominee runs. That ought to mean that he’ll have a clear path to victory in a vote of GOP House members. But what even the popular Ryan must consider is that anyone who assumes the role of speaker is going to run afoul of some conservatives in the party. As the New York Times noted in a front-page article on Tuesday, some right-wing websites and even a few members of Congress have been ginning up resentment of Ryan since he became the focus of the speaker race. The bottom line is that his conservative stands and championing of entitlement reform will count for nothing if he becomes speaker since, as far as some on the right are concerned, anyone who wants to govern is a RINO they will work to destroy.

There’s some truth to this conclusion, but before anyone buys into the conceit of the Times story, let’s also acknowledge that this article’s frame of reference and its prominent placement in the flagship of the liberal mainstream media also represents wishful thinking on the part of the left. The reason why most Republicans want Ryan to put aside his personal wishes and assume the speakership is that he is clearly the party’s ablest member of the House. Moreover, as the person who has led the charge on so many conservative issues as the leader of the “young guns” who opposed some of the party’s big government/high spending ways in the last decade, he has the credentials to be able to unite Republicans that no one else possesses. If the Times and other liberals are egging on the right to give him the same treatment afforded John Boehner, that’s because the Democrats have the most to gain from a process by which a GOP thought leader might be trashed.Scissors-32x32.png

Paul Ryan is a A TRAITOR TO AMERICA and Paul Ryan IS FOR THE "AMERO" = Canada - America - Mexico as zone 10 in the "New World Order" and why Hispanics and Latino's are being flooded into America to make it more palatable when the elitists pull the plug on America. G.W. Bush had the AMERO currency printed while in office and Obama has been distributing America's NWO currency... In February 2014 Barry shipped China 800 Billion AMERO's...for what?

A sitting President had an alternate currency for and UN-sovereign America printed while in office... THAT'S TREASON! The only guy to sound the alarm to America was Ron Paul.

I am starting to think there are some on our side who want to blow the whole thing up.

Example From The NY Times

“Tryouts for speaker continue,” Phyllis Schlafly, founder and chairwoman of the conservative Eagle Forum, said in a statement Friday, when Mr. Ryan was escaping Capitol Hill for the week. “The kingmakers are so desperate for someone to carry their liberal priorities that they are trying to force Congressman Paul Ryan into a job he does not want.”
