Argentine Murder Mystery

There’s a fine line between making comprised and becoming

comprised

Clifford D. May
7th October 2015 - The Washington Times

When heads of state gather, as they did for the United Nations General Assembly last week, you have a choice: Tune out or prepare to be bathed in blather, boilerplate and blatant lies. That said, the remarks of Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner deserve at least a few minutes of our undivided attention.

Her biggest whooper: “n Argentina, my government, our government will tirelessly continue seeking the truth and justice in the AMIA case.”

The AMIA case, you may recall, was the most lethal act of terrorism in the Americas prior to Sept. 11, 2001. On July 18, 1994, a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires (the Asociacin Mutual Israelita Argentina) was suicide-bombed, killing 85 people and wounding more than 300.

The evidence, of which there is no shortage, leads to one conclusion: Iran’s rulers ordered the mass murder; Iran’s proxy terrorist organization, Hezbollah, carried out the mass murder; and in recent years Argentine officials at the highest levels have been involved in a cover-up of the mass murder. Why Does Argentina Keep Shielding Iran?

Behind the scenes, Pope Francis wields clout in Argentina homeland

Following the mysterious death of a prosecutor who had indicted Mrs. Fernandez on conspiracy charges, Francis in January stepped in forcefully to keep the president from being deposed in a “soft coup,” The Washington Times learned from a close personal friend of the pope.

Local magnates had plotted to seize the moment and oust the president after Alberto Nisman was found with a gunshot wound to his head hours before he was due to testify on a supposed top-level cover-up of Iran’s suspected involvement in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires Scissors-32x32.png

Today’s Capt. Louis Renault moment brought to you courtesy of Cristina Kirchner

October 20th, 2015

Remember Cristina’s speech at the UN?

Most likely you won’t, since she was aiming for a home audience.

Anyway, Cristina yammered on and on about the whereabouts of Antonio “Jaime” Stiuso, the former head of Argentina’s counter-intelligence service, accusing the U.S of a cover-up, hypocrisy and double-standards.

Now we find the Argentine President on Defensive after Claims About Ally of Murdered Prosecutor Disproved

Disproved? I’m shocked!

Back to the article (emphasis added),

In a potentially embarrassing development for the government of Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, a leading newspaper, La Nación, has reported that a key ally of Alberto Nisman, the investigator of the bombing of the 1994 AMIA Jewish Community Center who died under mysterious circumstances, was allowed to leave the country after questioning, directly contradicting her portrayal of him as a fugitive from justice.
