Valin Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Hugh Hewitt Show: Hugh Hewitt Monday, July 13, 2015 Ryan Anderson of the Heritage Foundation joined me today to talk about his new book: Truth Overruled: The Future of Marriage and Religious Freedom, especially its crucial chapter central to the debate on tax-exempt status of churches and not-for-profits that restates the obvious but key arguments on why an institution that discriminates on the basis of race ought not to be tax-exempt, but why one which affirms traditional Judeo-Christian teaching on human sexuality –that intimacy is reserved for a man and a woman bound by marriage vows– ought to be tax exempt.
