President Obama is expressing frustration with the Supreme Court for considering the King V. Burwell challenge to ObamaCare.

During a press conference with reporters in Germany today, Obama insisted the lawsuit before the Supreme Court “should be an easy case.” He adds, “frankly, it probably shouldn’t even have been taken up.”

Obama asserted that the ruling should come “pretty quick” adding that it would be correct to “assume” that the justices will rule in his favor. Critics of his law, he explained, had a “twisted interpretation” and “contorted” view of the legislation, based on one passage of a law that is thousands of pages long.

Obama expressed optimism that the Supreme Court would “play it straight” on its interpretation of the law. He adds that if it doesn’t, Congress could easily repair the legislation.

“[C]ongress could fix this whole thing with a one sentence provision,” he said, telling reporters that he was not about to “go into a long speculation anticipating disaster.”

Obama asserted that there were several scenarios that would derail his plans, if individuals wanted to disrupt his efforts.

“This would be hard to fix,” he said. “Fortunately, there’s no reason to do have to do it, it doesn’t need fixing.”
