The interlocutors in the video purportedly discuss President Obama’s May 20 Coast Guard Academy commencement speech, which I discussed here and which Rich Lowry discusses here today. The moderator of the discussion in the video channels my thoughts, as creatively translated by IPhone Conservative, albeit a bit more colorfully than I expressed them. Obama’s Coast Guard commencement speech remains worthy of note. In it President Obama declared the alleged phenomenon formerly known as global warming to be “one of the most severe threats” we face and “an immediate risk to our national security.” The war on “climate change” is something that Jonathan Swift might have relegated to Book III of Gulliver’s Travels as a project of the scientists of Laputa.
