Hot Air: President Obama says we must tackle global warming because it's already causing asthma rates to climb. But his argument is full of holes. In any case, didn't the U.N. climate chief say we need to depopulate the planet?

 

The White House this week organized a roundtable with government and public health officials to warn that global warming is an immediate health threat and discuss how to deal with it.

 

A White House fact sheet says that asthma rates have doubled in the U.S. over the past three decades, and that "climate change is putting these individuals ... at greater risk of landing in the hospital." More wildfires, meanwhile, will increase the amount of air pollution from harmful particulate matter.
