Hillary Clinton told a crowd of journalists that she wants a new beginning in her relations with the press. Then, to prove her sincerity she entertained questions for 20 minutes.

Just kidding. Clinton did talk of a new beginning, but she took no questions, according to the National Journal.

The assemblage of hard-nosed reporters was clearly put off by Clinton’s unwillingness to take questions. Accordingly, Clinton received only polite applause when she finished her remarks.

Just kidding. Charmed by Clinton’s one-liners (almost certainly written by someone else), the journalists gave her a standing ovation.

In her remarks, Clinton offered the reporters tough love, or something. She called on them to focus on “serious” and “substantive” journalism going forward.

Translation: Don’t burden my presidential campaign by discussing anything that goes to my character or integrity.

Every conservative citizen should read about and see this footage; and then ask themselves if they will be voting for Hillary or AGAINST Hillary.

Those who are voting for Hillary is what we have now--all liberals plus the divided, splintered, head-in-the-sand, 'I will not compromise my principles', rag-tag, conservatives-in-talk-only.

So, IMO, Hillary is a shoo-in. (Especially after listening to a bit of Glenn Beck today, and Krauthammer's statement.)

@Chickadee

A Shoe In? Not Hardly. (taking my partisan hat off) She's really not a very good candidate. There is a saying attributed to George Burns..."If You Can Fake Sincerity, You've Got It Made." She can't (unlike Bill) fake sincerity. A big reason she won the NY Senate Seat was Rudy dropped out with cancer.

What did Glenn have to say, other than You Die, I Die, The Girl Dies, We All Die?

What I've started doing is every couple of day, I just walk away from the news, no talk radio, nothing to do with the news. It helps.

@Valin is offering good advice. Another is to just stay away from the Dem process, because if the rotten candidates don't have you puking, the fawning media coverage will.

@nickydog, tell me more about your B&B. That may be a no-go for a Midwesterner, but this desert rat may find it appealing....
