Valin
WHBL: Friday, March 06, 2015 MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Governor Scott Walker will sign Wisconsin's right-to-work bill Monday morning in Brown Deer, at an industry where the CEO says the law will create more jobs instead of less. The Republican Walker will hold a bill signing ceremony at Badger Meter. Thursday, the Journal Sentinel quoted the company's CEO, Rich Meeusen, as saying right-to-work would increase union positions at Badger Meter -- assuming the new hires want to join the labor group. Meeusen said the right-to-work law would result in a dozen additional jobs at his Milwaukee area operation in the short run -- and up to 50 jobs later on. What's more, he said there would not be a cut in wages. That was one of the main arguments Democrats cited in opposing the measure. The Assembly gave final legislative approval to the right-to-work bill Friday on a 62-to-35 vote in which all Republicans voted yes and all Democrats no. Cyber_Liberty
If the Unions could persuade the workers to join they might have better luck. The Unions only seem interested in cracking heads. They should ask themselves: Why are there Unions in the other 24 states? There are lots of them. How did that happen?
