Geee
Washington Examiner: The Senate on Friday passed a $40 billion measure to fund the Department of Homeland Security through Sept. 30. The vote was 68-31 and came after weeks of stalled action over a provision that would have curbed President Obama's executive actions on immigration. Senate Republicans crafted a deal with Democrats to strip out the immigration language, and that passed in an amendment by a vote of 66-33. The vote does not ensure the bill will become law. House Republicans want to restore at least some of the language blocking Obama's immigration directives.
