Valin Posted July 17, 2014 Share Posted July 17, 2014 Fox LA: 7/17/14 Los Angeles, CA - (FOX 11 / CNS) Authorities today served arrest warrants during the latest phase of "Operation Thumbs Down,'' a 30-month investigation targeting a South Los Angeles street gang. The investigation targeted members and associates of the Rollin' 30s Harlem Crips, a South Los Angeles street gang that ranks among the Los Angeles Police Department's top targeted street gangs,'' authorities said. So far, 23 defendants currently charged in federal indictments have been taken into custody in the investigation that began in 2011. The indictments filed in United States District Court in Los Angeles and unsealed this morning charge the defendants for their roles in a drug distribution network.
