On July 16, comic character Archie Andrews, of Life With Archie, will die after being shot while protecting gay friend Kevin Keller.

Keller is "Archie Comics' first openly gay character."

According to the Associated Press, Keller is "a married military veteran and newly elected senator who's pushing for more gun control in Riverdale after his husband was involved in a shooting."

Archie Comics' publisher and co-CEO Jon Goldwater said the way in which Archie will die was carefully chosen. While he could have been killed saving "Betty" or saving "Veronica," doing so for Keller was something "that would really resonate with the world."

Marvel announces Thor is now a woman in latest shake up to comic tradition

 

Marvel has shocked the comic book world by stating that one of its most famous and popular characters, Thor, will now be a women.

Despite already having strong female characters such as X-men’s Jean Grey, this will be the first time that a famous lead Marvel character will now be a woman.

"No longer is the classic male hero able to hold the mighty hammer," said Marvel in a statement.

Artwork was revealed showcasing a buxom blonde clad a caped costume and brandishing the trademark hammer.

Jason Aaron, series writer, said in a statement that: "This is not She-Thor. This is not Lady Thor. This is THE Thor."

The same Hollywood elites that have made their lifestyle the norm by justifying it over and over on TV and the movies are now coming to your kids comics. This will soon hit the screen as now these comics are made in to movies. Huge Dem supporters too, I might add.
