Valin Posted June 2, 2014 Share Posted June 2, 2014 Law Professor Jonathan Turley: I Dont Think Theres Much Debate That Obama Broke Law With Prisoner Swap Brendan Bordelon 6/2/14 George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said Monday that he doesnt believe theres much debate over whether the White House broke the law by releasing five high-ranking Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo Bay without congressional notification noting that not even the White House is seriously arguing that it is not violating federal law. Turley spoke with CNN anchor Carol Costello on Monday about the weekend prisoner swap, which saw Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl released from Taliban custody in exchange for five top-ranking Taliban officials held at Gitmo. Republicans in Congress have already accused the White House of ignoring a law requiring a 30-day notification before any prisoners are transferred from the high-security Caribbean prison, and have promised to hold hearings on the issue. Did the White House violate federal law? Costello asked Turley. They did, the professor replied matter-of-factly. I dont think that the White House is seriously arguing that theyre not violating federal law. And to make matters worse, this is a long series of violations of federal law that the presidents been accused of. This is going to add to that pile. As commander in chief he bombed at West Point because he is a totally convicted shallow leftty narcissistic progressive/liberal anti capitalist whose ideology and poiicies reflect this truth. He never should have been elected to lead America based on his total inexperience alone. I firmly believe that this was as much a way to chase the VA scandal off the screen as it was to help the image of the ending of the A-stan conflict....and a play to their anti-American base. 2.) Clearly.... professional liars were needed to first state the lies.....and then guide the media to repeat the lies until their LoFo base assimilates the lie as a truth. Enter Susan Rice....top liar at the NSA. She is able to put a face on professional prevarication. 3.) I can believe that Bag-Dad-Bergdahl would "claim" the WH with his little Pashto Prayer....and Barack Hussein would hug him for it. Nothing says screw America like.....a sly trick that advances Islam over Christian America.....and provides that ever present burr under the saddle of traditional America....and allows the great guffaws later....when only your sycophants can truly appreciate how you "got-one-over" on aMerica. Muslims now being the celebrated & protected elite of the American populace....it is just too easy to not let them in on a great joke at our expense. 4.) Those soldiers that served with & "know Bowe," as well as those that lost their lives + their families....are the now the "little people" of America. The ones that are expendable.
